McBurnie Oil and Country Gas started in 1976, taken over from the Monson Oil Company in Denmark, Maine. At that time, Monson Oil managed about 1000 oil and gasoline accounts. Since then, we have expanded to more than 4000 clients. We not only provide heating oil, including propane, gasoline, and diesel. Our team has grown to a total of 14 staff members with a commitment to service.

Recently, we have installed a 90,000-gallon below-ground storage facility to help us secure the best pricing on fuel and offer our clients competitive pricing.

Back in 2008, we merged with EnergyUSA Propane. This collaboration helps us keep delivering quality service at fair prices, which you have come to expect from McBurnie Oil and Country Gas.
