Had back up issues with downstairs plumbing. First, called a rooter service I had used in August. A rookie tech came out, pulled my toilet and snaked. When he left he said all should be good. Within 24 hrs, same toilet backed up again. Called the rooter service and the tech came back, stating that a co-worker with a camera would show up after he pulled the toilet and snaked again. That did not happen because the guy that was supposed to come out with the camera refused because the tech couldn't find a clean out. He wanted me to okay thousands of $$$ to dig and put a clean out in, and I am in a condo shared on one side (very complicated and scary!) The rooter tech also stated my 90 day warranty was invalid! (I had paid $350. the day before.) I called several plumbers asking for a referral to a local plumber with a camera. I was referred to Jonathan McBride, who came out this past Monday and got his camera down the sewer line to see what we were up against. There was a large globule of something neither of us could identify, and Jon worked on this for about 20 min, while sending water down the pipes. He got the glob of stuff dislodged and flushed more water down to reveal a clean sewer pipe! So great to see this all on the camera as well. Jon knows his job and carefully explained my plumbing system and I followed the camera outside to show exactly where it drains into the main city sewer pipe. Jon is a guy with straight answers, he is also, down to earth, smart and kind when the customer has been through a lot with plumbing issues, it makes you feel calmer like, ""okay, I can trust this plumber."" I will continue to use Jon's service and refer him. He has the knowledge, experience and technology to do his job and his price was happily, very reasonable.

John was referred by another professional so I called and left a vm with problem at hand. He responded within thirty minutes, already knew what I needed, provided a cost guess-timate until actually seeing the job and gave a time frame he w/b available. WOW what more could anyone ask!! So he came out, saw the job and gave me the factual total which was pretty much spot on and he got the job.
John is a very good communicator and a good listener. So important for us ladies that have no idea of plumbing repairs, installs, parts, etc., so after he hears what you need he can explain in detail the repairs, parts, labor costs and time needed to complete work. He is extremely knowledgeable and stays up to date with all facets of his profession. His rates are competitive and much lower than ""Big Box"" plumbing companies AND his work is guaranteed. I'm so glad he was referred and that I was smart enough to hire him. I strongly recommend McBride Plumbing and have already referred friends and family, the do-it-yourself-ers who always want to save $$ but in the end turn an easy job into a nightmare (we know who you are and love you anyway) and need a plumber ASAP on Sunday afternoon.

My kitchen sink would not drain at all, and the washing machine drain pipe was also clogged resulting in a water leak. I called McBride Plumbing and Jonathan was able to come out the very next day. Jonathan gave me a service appointment with a two-hour window which was very convenient for me. Upon his arrival, he asked what the problem was and I described the issues. He thoroughly explained what he felt needed to be done, and then promptly began working, explaining each step to me. He fixed the problem within an hour.
