WARNING: UNPROFESSIONAL & UNSTABLE

I was scheduled to have an estimate for basement flood control system on 05/JUN/2020, but Tom was a ""no-show"". I got a call from the company AFTER the appointment time explaining that Tom got pulled into an emergency and asking if we could re-schedule the appointment.

Why didn't they call earlier/prior to the appointment time? I'd wasted part of my day waiting for them. Surely they knew prior to my appointment that their estimator would be unable to make the appointment.

That was the first sign that the company likely wasn't reputable.

Against my better judgement, I allowed them another chance and a new appointment was set for 06JUN2020.

However, on 06JUN2020 Tom showed up at a different time than scheduled - about an hour earlier than the confirmed appointment time.

When I explained that I had him on my schedule for a different time, Tom acknowledged that my time was correct. So, I guess he just decided to come at whatever time he wanted.

When Tom arrived, I was engaged in another matter, but I stopped what I was doing to meet with him.

We are currently in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic but despite this, Tom proceeds to enter my home wearing no face covering. That is simply unsafe and irresponsible behavior.
I had to stop to ask that he wear a protective mask. Only then, did he go out to his vehicle to retrieve one.

When he returned, Tom spent less than 5 minutes assessing the space for a flood control system. He babbled inaccuracies about my water meter not being on the actual property address (he was incorrect) and stated that the cost for him to install a system would be too expensive although he never provided any cost estimates.

I guess he automatically assumed that I couldn't afford it.

It was obvious that Tom was not performing a thorough assessment and that he wasn't interested in doing business with me. It was a total waste of my time.

I abruptly told him ""goodbye"" and I ushered him out of the door. At that point, Tom begin to hurl profanities at me.

So unprofessional. So unstable.

The company and its representatives are unethical in conduct. They engage in slander and online defamation.

I recommend that you steer clear.

I was amazed with this company and will recommend them to anyone and everyone who needs a plumber! Tom came out within hours of calling and fixed my problem right away for a really fair price!! I wish more companies handled themselves like this company does!
