Every time I have a heating, cooling or plumbing problem I can count on the folks at McAllister's to come through. This morning I had a bathroom sinking leaking. After trying to fix it myself (unsuccessfully), I called McAllisters. They not only fixed the leaking the main bath, they dismantled and cleaned the drains in the master bath and powder room.
The technician wore a mask the entire time he was in the house, protective coverings over his boots, did a very tidy job, and was so pleasant!
Exactly what I have come to expect when I call McAllister Plumbing & Heating!

One chilly spring morning, we woke and our hone seemed very chilly. I sent my husband to the basement and he said the heat wasn't working. He has some basic mechanism knowledge and couldn't figure out what was going on. We called McAllister and they were there just a few hours later. Turned out, the problem we had was not something simple. This pleased my husband. They put in a simple fix to get the heat going right away while we waited for the part to come in. They are great at communicating prices and providing estimates. We will call McAllister again!

Earlier this month we hired McAllister Plumbing for a number of plumbing jobs in our home. The office staff is so friendly and efficient. We were scheduled in timely fashion, were informed about what to expect, & had information about the hourly cost. Chris Foust and his professional helper came promptly at the time arranged. Both men worked diligently, efficiently, & communicated well with us. All the jobs were done to a high level of expertise. They were very conscientious about neatness and cleanliness as well. We were very pleased with the completed job. We also received a follow-up call from the main office to make sure we were satisfied. Overall, McAllister is an excellent company! Terrible repair man. Was informed that I have pneumonia and just had emergency sinus surgery. And not to run the furnace in my apartment. Did it anyways. Keep up the awful customer service. Your reply is unsatisfactory and there is no working thermostat your repair man didnt know this because he didnt speak with me. I stand by my review of the way you operate thanks for making presumptions. This is first and foremost about my health and your lack of regard for my well being.

Had an issue with my sewer, and they repaired it. The issue came back after only four weeks, and had to call someone else. When I addressed this with the manager, they refunded the cost of their original work.

Got into town last night, only to find water in our basement! We have been out of town for a week and will be leaving again early tomorrow morning....
Needless to say we were a bit desperate, I called McAllister ( we have used them before, they were excellent) Beverly at office was very kind and helpful....I called OP water, they sent someone right away as the water needed to be turned off while the tech worked and then turned on again once the tech (Andy) was finished....Andy was extremely professional and fast!

We recently had some unwanted water in our utility room, After having an appliance repair man out to tell us it wasn't the washer , we contacted McAllister. The initial review was timely and professional -we were advised of the various possibilities of our problem and associated remediation plans with anticipated costs. Before the actual work was done, we were contacted by staff to keep us abreast of weather conditions affecting the actual work that would need to be done. They wanted to avoid as much damage to our lawn as possible. We were notified of their arrival date and time and Chris was here as scheduled.

He was polite and professional, keeping me updated on the progress of the job. Upon completion, he groomed the driveway and sidewalk as much as possible and encouraged us to call with any questions. I was contacted later by office staff to check on the job, and again encouraged to call with any questions. Pricing was fair especially since we had discussed possible costs previously.

We will certainly recommend this company to family and friends should the need arise.

Had them out to do my annual pre-winter boiler service today. They definitely have their act together. All of the office staff I spoke to were polite and on top of things. They don't book a first call of the day, so if no emergencies come in, they actually get to you early -- which happened. Their guy was at my house 45 minutes before my 2 hour window started. He was polite, competent, and completed the job quickly. I'll be using them for my plumbing / heating issues in the future.

Had them at my house to replace a main shut off valve. People at the office were friendly and followed up to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Plumber was friendly on time price was fair. They will be my go to company in the future
