When others gave up Carlos saved day and got the job done right. We had a Mr. Rooter appointment where they tangled a 6ft snake down the bathtub drain and couldn't get it out after hours of trying. Carlos came over and cleaned up their mess with his expertise. He successfully removed their snake and unclogged our drain when it didn't look like it was possible. He does great work!

A pipe under my bathroom sink got corroded and leaked. Called a plumber and he showed up the same day (great) and replaced the pipe. The problem it was still leaking, and I was told to replace a faucet. He came back to replace the faucet, but it still leaked. I was told to replace a sink. This all was going on for a week. Finally, he came to replace the sink and brought a wrong sink. I assumed he wanted to finish this job fast, so he was caulking around the rim to fit the sink in place. When I saw the sink, I was so disappointed in his unprofessional job that I screamed in frustration and fired him the next day.

I called Carlos, who came the same day, assessed the situation and told me he was going to purchase and replace a sink the next day. He was professional, knowledgeable and a great communicator.

The most impressive quality about Carlos that he is honest and keeps his word by constantly communicating with a customer. From now on, he is going to be my go to plumber for all future issues. I highly recommend Carlos to everybody.

Carlos is not only knowledgeable and skilled at what he does, but he is a pleasure to work with, particularly due to his positive, ""can-do"" attitude. I appreciated his honest assessment of our storm drain issues, and his willingness to work hard to fix them. He spent three hours at our house on Saturday morning to work on the drains, and didn't gouge us for Saturday service. He knows what he is doing and is careful not to damage other parts of the landscaping. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, and I will call him again for other plumbing needs.

Carlos is the BEST! I discovered in the evening that my sewer line backed up and had to call in (another) emergency plumbing service. They came and snaked the line but told me that I would need to have expensive repairs done, and the sewer could back up again any time, and new pipes could cost several thousand dollars so they could give me alternatives.

Fortunately, a friend referred me to Carlos. He was not in my area but made the trip to Pleasant Hill! He was professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy! As he put down the camera and showed me what the sewer pipes looked like, I felt immediately at ease. He did not scare me with worst case scenarios, instead he had a confident, positive attitude, and said he would do everything possible to clear the pipe.

He went above and beyond by using different size snake heads to clear the pipes (the prior company did a rush job), and he put the down the camera multiple times as he worked and was happy to show me what was being done. The was literally complete transparency and I felt 100% confidence in what he was telling me and showing me. Additionally, after he was done with clearing the pipe, he pointed out that the portion of the drain above ground was to high, and he cut it down so that if in the future there is every a back up, the waste and water would come outside and not back up to my shower at is previously had. He was just completely thorough, and cared a lot about making sure that everything was right.

Carlos gave me advise on how to maintain the pipe, and told me that I just needed to do maintenance, NO repairs were needed. Not only did I save a lot of money, I feel like I have a trusted and dependable resource which to me is everything!

Carlos is awesome - I must agree with a previous reviewer's comment that he is a ""Mexican John Rambo"". I had a plastic object stuck in my toilet, and after calling another plumber and having been told that I would probably have to just buy a new toilet, I'm so glad I decided to call someone else and found Carlos. He was able to quickly remove the item without even removing the toilet and saved me a bunch of dough! Thanks Carlos, you da man!!

Water heater broke down & leaked all over the garage in middle of a cold spell and had to be replaced.

Carlos was easy to reach and came by on same day to give me an assessment and by the next day, the heater was in place and running well. He was easy to work with, helpful, flexible and professional. I would recommend him.

Carlos (owner) came on a Sunday to fix our leaking water heater. It ended up needing to be replaced (20+ years old) and he did it the same day! He was on time, respectful, courteous, and just an overall nice person. Price was reasonable even for an emergency week-end. Carlos and his company are the real deal....

Just had this guy come by and rooter a lateral line. One of the most straight up guys I've ever done business with. Before calling him I called a plumber from the peninsula that I knew...didn't get a call back for 5 hours. Called MC Plumbing, he picked up right away, told him what was going on, he gave me a quote and a time that he'd be by...and he came through with both. Totally stoked to have met Carlos. He showed up, took a quick look at what was going on, grabbed his tools and blew it out literally in a matter of minutes. Double checked the drains to make sure they were flowing both at the clean out at the house and street side. Carlos wrote us an invoice on the spot with his iPad, emailed it over and got paid. His rate was totally fair, he could have charged double and we still would have been more than happy with his punctuality and professionalism. I'm a contractor and I deal with flakes and guys trying to upsell you on everything including simple service call. I've already given his cards out to two people and it's only been three hours since he's left. Can't say enough good stuff about MC Plumbing. Great guy, great service, if you have a back up or clog in a toilet/shower/sink... Do yourself a solid and give this guy a call. This job was for my grandmother's house and even she was thrilled given the situation.
