We hired Manuel with MB Remodeling to do some painting for us on a remodel project. He took the job and gave us a lump sum price of $3300 to do the job. He continually was dishonest with us about when he would arrive to do the work. He sent out subcontracted painters with no equipment to paint and borrowed our equipment. The next time he sent out painters that had non-working equipment and he had to bring a working spray paint machine. Then he tried to get out of painting a portion of the the job as well as roll paint portions of the house that were to be sprayed to save himself money. We had brand new cabinets being installed and he began moving and damaging the cabinets and doors out of his way to try and prepare for paint. When the cabinet guy tried to stop him he responded that he didn't care if he damaged the cabinets. He then quit the job after we had paid him half up front because he said he couldn't work with the job supervisor. He only finished maybe 1/4 of the job, left us hanging with no one to finish the job, and then sent me a total invoice of $2400 - $900 less than the completed job with less than 1/4 of the job done. We paid for all the materials and ended up providing him with most of the equipment. No refund, an $870 invoice. On top of that he has no workers compensation insurance to cover anyone he employs. I would never recommend MB Remodeling. I caught him in numerous lies and he cheated me as well. I now will be filing a claim against his contractors bond and filing a complaint with the CSLB. Terrible contractor.

I needed a media cabinet installed in my condo. Manuel was incredibly helpful. He finished running 3 HDMI cables to the cabinet area and then framed, drywalled, and installed the electric outlets needed. I've posted the photos before and after for other Yelpers to see. Would highly recommend MB Remodeling.

There was water damage in my bathroom and had to have the whole bathroom remodeled. I was able to make an appointment and get a quote and it came out great. He was able to work with me on price, since I had other expenses to fix other issues. It was great customer service! Definitely recommend him!
