I called on Saturday when my air conditioner stopped working. I was told they were busy, as I expected they would be, and I scheduled an appointment for the following Tuesday. I was called the day before by the company to verify my appointment for the following day, which I did. I was given a 2-hour window for when the tech would arrive. Along came Tuesday and the tech never showed. I called the company and was told I was next on the schedule, but this was already more than 20 minutes after my 2-hour window and it would still be a while before anyone would be at my house.

I waited 4 days, the company had a 2-hour window and I was never even given a courtesy call that the tech was going to be late. It seems as though my time meant nothing to them and I will not do business with a company like that, especially when there are so many highly rated competitors so close.

Everyone from the office staff to the technicians has been nothing courteous and professional. After living in our home for 7 years we decided to have our HVAC tuned before the summer heat kicked in. Apparently, you should have everything serviced regularly. MB was able to schedule an appt for two days after I called and Gabriel arrived on time. He assessed the condition of the system and even identified a fault in the A/C drain which had been routed back into itself. Gabriel fixed this issue and tuned up the entire system in less than two hours. I will be using MB for all my HVAC needs going forward.

We had a furnace/heat pump that was 31 years old. I kept avoiding having it serviced because I know it was going to be a full replacement. My wife called and MB came out the same evening we called. They offered to do a quick fix for a switch that had gone bad, gave us an option to replace the furnace alone or to do the whole system. The AC unit itself was 12 years old and it made sense to me to do it all at once. No haggle pricing, very upfront and they use good units. They had an install cancel and we were able to have our system installed the next day. Technicians showed up on time and completed the install that day. All employees indicated they were treated well and liked the company they work for. It showed in their work. They hauled away all the old equipment and the workspace was spotless with no trash or even dust. Very happy

Mb Plumbing installed all new ducting and two new registers and did a mighty fine job! When I first called them to schedule a meeting for an estimate they responded promptly and arrived on time. We discussed all the possibilities for the job and what would work best to achieve better circulation, energy efficiency and cost effective. Gabriel thoroughly discussed my needs and inspected what was currently in place and made a very fair estimate. I'm very glad I chose them to do the work and the system is working just like I hoped for. Very nice installers and they cleaned up after the work was completed. Another satisfied customer for Mb Heating and Air Conditioning!

These guys were great! I called them around 130 and they were here at 3pm. They had our ac fixed in 30 minutes! Price is reasonable as well. We are very happy with their service!

Update:

Mark came back out and checked the work for the whole job. He personally fixed anything he was not happy with and made a few repairs to the house that were not part of the original job.

He assured me that the plumbers who performed work on my house have not worked for his company for almost a year. That is definitely reassuring.

He obviously cares about his company and his name and I respect that.

Unfortunately we have had nothing but problems with the work this company performed.
The plumbers were all very pleasant, and easy to work with, but I would not recommend them for plumbing services. We have had to call them back out to fix leaks 5 times in a year and a half. I wanted to like them, but just can't.

To their credit, they have come out and fixed the issue each time. I appreciate that.

Simply the best! I've had them do plumbing work, repair, replacement work on our home and my mothers home. They are always friendly, courteous and most important, efficient. They show up on time and do the job right the first time. I highly recommend them for plumbing work and for heating/AC. I had them replace the entire AC system at my mothers house and it works phenomenally!

I have been using MB Plumbing Heating & AC for several years now and they have made sure that my AC and Furnace are working efficiently when I need it most. When it comes to repairs outside of routine maintenance, they have been honest about what is needed and what can be deferred to another time which is greatly appreciated. They also take the time to explain and provide evidence of any issues which makes it much easier to make a decision since I don't have to worry about whether or not they are up-selling me. I will continue to use MB for the foreseeable future.

Our AC kept blowing a fuse. My husband tried to diagnose and fix as everyone knows how expensive AC repair can be. The part he replaced did not do the trick so I had to find outside help. I called three places, the first I got voicemail, the second wasn't sure when they could come out and the third was this company. Third time's a charm! Warren came out about an hour or so after my call and let me tell you, he knows his stuff. I watched him do some electrical magic with wires and replaced a part with ease and was done. He was thorough, informative and honest. Warren is my new best friend...got my AC going and didn't break the bank. Thank you Warren, I appreciate your help.

I have been doing business with Mark Ballard (MB) for over 10 years now and on top of being honest and fair, you will find that Mark, Gabriel and Warren are 3 of the most knowledgeable professionals in any service industry that you could encounter. Last month, my tenants reported an a/c unit leak from the attic and my home warranty company sent out a vendor that wrote up an additional $1000 in ""upgrades, modifications and tests"" that weren't covered. I called MB for a second opinion and Gabriel went out to my rental property later that afternoon. He assessed the problem, emailed me pictures and called me to explain my options for repairing the problem. It turned out that the ""upgrades"" were unnecessary for the type of repair needed (according to CA state law) and Gabriel was able to get the parts and have techs ready to service the unit faster than 2 other local vendors, which was crucial during the heat wave, so I took the cash out option with my warranty company and scheduled the repairs with MB, but as my luck would have it, the job had to be stopped when water damage remediation became necessary. To my surprise, even after the job was abruptly paused, the MB techs made sure that they secured all of the cords, sealed off hoses, ducts and parts of the system in the attic, cleaning up after themselves so well that the insurance adjuster noted it in his report. Also, during that time, Gabriel called me to see if everything was going well with the additional repairs and to let me know that they would be ready to pick up where they left off as soon as I gave the word. This really meant more than I could put into words, during a time that was stressful and frustrating. Kindness, compassion and quality service in a timely manner from your neighborhood plumbing, heating and a/c company, imagine that! If you are in their service area, you'd be silly to look anywhere else for repairs!
