I have had a gas fireplace in my house for 10 years. It has not worked correctly for 6 of them. I have had two other companies come in to fix it and neither were successful. I was told I needed to buy a new unit $$$. Mazzini came in and found the problem and wouldn't charge me until they fixed it! I really appreciate their service and integrity.

These guys are absolutely amazing. We were looking for a way to install a fireplace on an outside wall in a condo. Mike showed us a number of options one of which seemed to make sense. His installer, Dennis came over to be sure that what we were able to install what we wanted. We asked them to coordinate with our own plumber. They were very gracious about doing so. We had a glitch about getting the gas line to our property and Paula and Dennis and Mike all were incredibly flexible in terms of the scheduling and adapting to the situation. At this point all is working well and smoothly. The fireplace guys at Mazzini and the plumbers at Aspinwall plumbing who all work out of the same space and I guess are part of the same company are excellent providers of good customer service. They responded to all questions, big and small, and were consistently friendly. If you want to buy a fireplace of any kind we would highly recommend that you take a trip to their store and talk with them. Thank you all!!!

If you're looking for gas fireplace sales or service stop searching and call these guys. I was shocked to see the consistently bad reviews of all the the other fireplace stores/installers in metro Boston.

I recently purchased a house with a gas fireplace in serious disrepair and was expecting to have to replace the insert. I called Mazzinini at 8:30 one morning and they were at my house at 1:30 the same day. Within an hour the tech had cleaned and repaired the insert, saving me the $5000 cost of replacement. He explained everything to me in detail and even saved me another $200 by offering to find a new battery cover for the old fireplace remote, rather than having to replace it.

I don't understand this business. I went to their store and spent a lot of time discussing different gas fireplaces. I made an appointment to have someone come out and look at the potential installation at my home. The fellow who came out was nice enough, but was basically a plumber who was only interested in where my gas connection was. He had no real other information to share - too bad I took time off from work to meet with him, but I figured it wasn't his fault. He promised me an estimate from the office a week later. That was *weeks* ago. I have tried calling several times and the person who answers always promises a call back in a few minutes. Nothing. So, I sent an email asking when I could expect my estimate. Have never heard a word. I don't know how they can stay in business with this kind of approach, but I wish them good luck.

I found these guys on Super Pages looking for a fire place for my addition, I decided to go into the store and met with the owner/sales guy Mike. He was very helpful from the start and knowledgeable about all his products. He helped me pick out the best fire place for my house. It was a little more money then I wanted to spend but I have to say Mike was right it was the perfect one to get! I didn't think I would use it as much as I do either, thanks Mike
