I had Maxwell Plumbing come and replace my hot water heater, what a nightmare! First they brought the wrong one, then returning with the """"Right"""" one, they had to totally demolish the door and casing to Get it in there. Then the way they hitched everything up was a total Disaster but it works! Then when they replaced all the casing and door, I couldn't believe it. Broken pieces of trim, gaps in the wall, floor not put back right etc,. I am so disappointed with them I've used Maxwell for years, they need to get experienced help!!!

Called at 8:30 AM on Monday to have an in-line shut-off valve installed for dishwasher. Was told that earliest appointment available was on Wednesday so I agreed to an afternoon slot. Waited until 4:05 on Wednesday afternoon and had not received a phone call or seen the plumber. Called the office and was surprised to discover that office was now closing at 4:00 PM instead of the 5:00 PM listed on the website. Tried to call the emergency number provided twice but got a message both times that the mail box was full. The plumber on call did call me back around 6 PM and said although he couldn't come they would probably put me at the top of the list for Thursday morning. This was important because I was having a new dishwasher installed on Thursday. Got a voice mail from Courtney at the Maxwell office at 7:10 AM on Thursday morning saying I was second on the list and that plumber would be here around 10 AM. Called the office at 7:51 to attempt to get moved up in time but was told that he was already gone. Dishwasher technician arrived at 10:45 and could not install because shut-off was not replaced. Plumber arrived at 11:20 AM and had work completed by noon. When I called appliance store to re-schedule dishwasher, the earliest available was Saturday. I find it hard that any business would not show up for an appointment without at least calling to explain why and guarantee the next soonest appointment. I also don't understand why you would leave outdated business hours on your website. You have cost me two days delay on the dishwasher installation and numerous hours waiting on a person who didn't show up and couldn't be troubled to call me. I will not be using this business again.

I called Maxwell and Son for repair my water heater. The woman who answers the phone told me someone will be there the next morning after I asked what time. I asked what time is considered the Morning? She said between 8-12pm. Told me $110 for hour plus parts. The person that showed up late was aggressive his name is Jeff. My Attic ceiling had collapsed when I had a roof leak. So there is a shallow path to water heater. He opened garage door to get to water heater. He then was throwing my items at my truck hitting my truck with Black Bin and My Trash can.he was still throwing my items until I told him to stop throwing my items. He was about to throw my step stool. He tried to charge me to put in plastic pipe when I have copper pipe. The pipe didn't need replacing. He wanted to put plastic so it break and more repairs for future. He acted this way because he figures I'm a woman and he can do what he wants. Total attitude. He then tried to charge me travel time as it was not quoted in phone. He took it off after I asked to speak to the manager. Especially the way he was treating me. I spoke to the woman who answers the phone everytime that there is no pressure. She told me they will send somebody other then Jeff as I told her what happened. She said she wouldn't allow him there again either. I will not allow him back at my house. They were to send a different person. The person that was calling is Jeff. She told me they would be there 5he next Morning as I didn't need to ask time as she told me 8-12pm the first time. They again didn't arrive 8-12pm 2 days in a row. I called at 12pm the Woman that answers the phone said it doesn't say on ticket to come in morning. I said whoever wrote the ticket didn't write morning again! You told me morning. She said she will have the person text the estimate time of arrival. I said you do that. She hung up. They all have bad attitudes no good customer relations. I called at 2:30pm saying I didn't receive text. She says they will call before they come. I said they end at 4pm you told me yesterday. Then she changes it and says they work til 9pm. 2 days had me wasting in my house waiting for them that was supposed to be morning appointment. I have other appointments. I left my house at 4:40pm. No Show of tech. He leaves a message at 5:50pm claiming he wants to come to my house at night? Not happening. I was not home JEFF IS NOT COMING BACK TO MY HOUSE. I am afraid of him and his aggressive behavior. I received no call from a manager on this situation. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY Maxwell and Son!

D Don't bother calling this company if you have a plumbing problem. I did last week and I know more about plumbing than the kid they sent out. They charged me $122.00. This week I have to find another plumber to come out and fix the original problem.

Update to my service,Rob came and killed himself to get this done,wasnt an easy job had to crawl under the house ,probably had to fight off crawling things, found roots growing in the pipes,,,a real mess BUT he did it quick and the price was good too,,,,I live in a mobil home so lets just say Im a Happy Camper...job done in record time ,call these folks if you need service!!!!

Hmmm, Matt came out to service our home well system for a home we just purchased. When we arrived at the house he was inside looking around without our permission (there was a tile crew in the house which is why the door was unlocked) . He told me he had serviced the house in the past but was incompetent working on the home filtration system settings. He discovered the water pressure issue was an expensive filter requiring too much pressure, a lesser grade one I already had was installed and the pressure issue was fixed. He then talked his way out of replacing a shut off valve I asked him to sweat on. When I called the office about the expensive filter missing after the job was done and a now missing o-ring for the filter canister Trish was defensive. When Matt called me to discuss the issue he initially said he took nothing from the job. After another minute he admitted taking the filter but denied an o-ring issue. He was argumentative and neither he nor the office were willing to find a resolution. Protect yourself, do not do business with a company that overcharges for doing no work, takes your parts for themselves, and does not care about their customers.
