39 years old and I've never complained publicly about a company.

Water was leaking from a pipe connected to the hot water heater. Max Plumbing diagnoses problem and replaces T&P Valve. Leak stops. I pay $270. A few hours later leak reappears. I'm not sure if that's normal. A few days pass and the leak gets worse. I call Max Plumbing and I'm told if someone comes out to look at it, it will cost more money. I don't like where this is going. I call Nothing But Water Heaters. They come out and replace the T&P Valve that Max Plumbing had just installed. Same work performed. Leaks stops. I pay $130. Leak does not reappear.

I call to complain about Max Plumbing's substandard work. Multiple times over the course of a few weeks. They tell me repeatedly that someone will be calling me. They don't. I finally get someone to talk to me. They insist the valve that Nothing but Water Heaters replaced is not the valve they installed. I watched the valve get replaced and have it in my possession. They call me a liar. They call Nothing But Water Heaters a liar. I will be getting nothing from Max Plumbing. $270 down the drain.

Hopefully this is not a common occurrence with them. All I can do is share the experience that I had, and it was not a good one.

UPDATE: see owner's response below. I knew I would not want to read it immediately after getting an e-mail from Yelp that it was posted. Calling me a scammer. Despicable, disgraceful conduct. I've already spent well more than $270 worth of my time on this. I just want the company to do the right thing given they did not perform the repairs that I paid for. ""Clearly not the part we installed"" What a farce.

A great experience. They had a cancelation so they called and set up an earlier appointment with my approval. They called when they were on their way. The work performed was fantastic. Matt was very friendly and explained what was going to be done and even let me know how things progressed along the way. I really appreciated his efforts and would say he is a great representative of the company. They cleaned up as they went along and also doubled checked at the end of the job. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone with plumbing needs.

Over priced & dishonest service people. I recently purchased a toilet from Home Depot including parts, removal of old toilet & installation. Home Depot's contract installer ""Max Plumbing "" was sent to do the installation. I left the installer alone in the bathroom to do his work. Approximately 40 minutes later he emerges from the bathroom telling me the original toilet was installed improperly. Mind you, I purchased the home new from Pulte Homes in Las Vegas. He tells me in order to ""fix it"" right he has the part on his truck but it cost $498. The toilet only cost $149. I told him that's unreasonable, typical contractor scam to up sale me. Well he Got on the phone to his ""boss"" who was able to lower the part price to $349. While he was on the phone I Googled the price and the part (flange) sells for $12.39 at Home Depot. I had no choice but to agree to his ransom knowing I was reporting the incident to Home Depot who would make it right and they did refund me the cost. Additionally, Home Depot said the contractor Max Plumbing also failed to properly report the up sale purchase of $349 to the computer system for tracking purposes.
To make a long story short, I knew the trick Max Plumbing was playing to rip off consumers but I also knew the quality folks at my Home Depot store in Las Vegas would make things right. Avoid Max Plumbing!!!! At all cost.... or you'll be paying unnecessary COST.

My expectations were far exceeded!!! My husband and I have owned our home for 6 years and last night our a/c unit started making a weird noise. This was our first experience with dreaded a/c repair and I was extremely nervous. We put in a few requests to have the unit looked at. The first company that arrived looked over our wall and said ""yep - fan motor needs replaced. $500"". (Insert eye roll)

Matt S. with Max Plumbing came over next and took the time to ask the right questions to help diagnose the issue. He was able to determine that it was the capacitor and not the fan. Matt also took the time to replace the indoor filters that I had in the garage and dusted around the vent for me. (Short girl problems)

Something else that really impressed me was the text message the company sent prior to Matt's arrival. I knew a little about him, his experience, and how the company was protecting their customer during Covid.

I really can't recommend this company enough!! They went above and beyond! Thanks so much Max Plumbing and Matt!

Max Plumbing Services are expensive.

My problem was a guest bathroom sink with a slow drain. (Not clogged) This was not an urgent situation.

I set an appointment up with Max Plumbing for a free estimate regarding my slow sink drain. The technician came and quoted $199 to snake out the slow sink drain. The $199 price was at the top end of my acceptable range, so I agreed to the service.

The technician snaked out my slow drain with a smaller snake apparatus. The plumbing pipes in that bathroom are only about 15 feet long, till they hit a 4 inch sewer pipe in my condominium building.

After the technician snaked out my drain, the issue was not resolved. Then the technician said he had to bring in a bigger snake device and it will be $299 for the service. At this point I'm stuck. My drain is not fixed and the plumber had me hooked for $199 for failure to clear a slow sink drain.

The final $299 charge for a slow sink drain is much higher than other plumbers would charge me for the same service..

In the future I will not be calling Max Plumbing for services as they are an Expensive choice among other competitive plumbers.

I love Max Plumbing....I love Keno with Max Plumbing. When I have a plumbing issue and I have to call my home warranty for a plumbing repair, I request that the ticket be sent to Max Plumbing. I then call Max Plumbing and specifically request Keno. If its a personal plumbing repair (remodel) I call Max and request Keno. Unless it an emergency I'm waiting until Keno has an opening, he is always on time and I love how honest he is and he is always a pleasure and safe especially in times like these...

I purchased my service thru Groupon for the annual hot water heater servicing. When I called the young lady on the phone gave me my service window. A young man Karlton Collins arrived halfway through the window, introduced himself and explained to us what he was going to do and how it would benefit us. After he was done he showed us what came out and when we should have it done again. We will be calling Max Plumbers again and requesting Karlton. He is very professional and we felt comfortable with him.

My experience with Max Plumbing has been wonderful! After a few quotes with other companies this was the best priced for what I was looking to have done. The response time was quick and repairs were done just as fast. My plumber Keno was so pleasant to speak with and I felt no pressure at all when speaking about the shut off valves needing replaced in my bathroom and the costs. If I need more plumbing work done, hopefully not, I will absolutely be contacting Max Plumbing and hope that Keno is there to help again!

Had them come out and replace a shower valve. $46 part at Lowe's. Wanted $369 for a job that took anther plumber 30 minutes to complete. Way too expensive...I would shop around
