I had Maverick install a Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems 50 A, Industrial, Receptacle, Black, No Tamper Resistant HBL9450A. They were the only company that came out to give an accurate quote. I was initially shocked at the first quote, but they were willing to bargain. They had the breaker and the wire already, I had the outlet. He also inspected my breaker and used copper wire. They were professional. They let me know that they were behind.

I needed 4 fans installed, many GCFIs repaired, light switches rewired, and mystery switches identified. On a separate visit, I needed a remote control compact laundry line installed (a ""Foxydry"" that lowers a rack from the ceiling on which to dry clothes).

Maverick sent Nate for the first job and Chris for the second. Nate and Chris are both very detail oriented, which I believe is the case for all Maverick electricians. For the ceiling fans that replaced lights, Nate had to install fan boxes and was very careful to place the fan base to minimize any leftover space in the stucco after the lights were removed. He, and later Josh, also took the time to work with the fan manufacturer to secure warranty replacements when the new fans' transmitters weren't working. Maverick held open an appointment for me so that when the parts arrived, they could be installed asap. Nate also identified issues with the outdoor GFCI outlets that he fixed. He worked through my list methodically, explained things to whatever detail I needed, and was genuinely nice. Nate also replaced kitchen ballast lights that I wanted updated. Easy and fast job, and as another review said, very much the gentleman.

Chris installed my electric laundry rack. We had a thorough analysis of where it would fit best, which is critical. During installation, he realized that the provided bolts would not sufficiently support the weight of the rack and he devised a way to secure it to studs without compromising the location of the rack within my required set-backs from cabinets, etc. He was resourceful and enthusiastic and I was overjoyed with the result. Also very nice to interact with.

Maverick electricians and staff are knowledgeable, polite, friendly, efficient and professional. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

We had maverick Electrical out to wire a detached garage, and run wire for a future pool. Josh and Chris did an amazing job. Everything turned out great, and they were both very friendly and hard working. The work was completed in just 2 days, which is good for how far they had to dig a trench. I would absolutely recommend them, and will use them again if I need work done.

From my first phone call inquiry with Barbara regarding their services, approximate charges for the service call and what to expect from them it was flawless in delivery.
Nate Alexander the Electrician arrived promptly on time and treated us with exceptional manners, professionalism, and is a true gentleman. Nate also took the time to write up several quotes for additional work requested by us before he started the actual job that he came out to do. He made notes took pictures and gave us options to think about. When the job was completed, he vacuumed and cleaned everything as he found it.....I am a retired IT Field Engineer and Nate is just awesome an professional.

In response to my review of our experience with this company, customer service reached out to me with apologies for such poor service. I appreciate that they are using my experience as a learning tool. My fee was returned and I am told they will take this experience for retraining of their new electrician. Customer service is trying very hard to build a reputable business and I support their efforts. I hope they are able to build their company based on referrals from happy customers. I once again reiterate...know what you want and what you should be charged for it.

We have a dedicated circuit in the garage for an electric golf cart. Recently, we had switched the battery to lithium, and it apparently created a higher power drain during charging. Yesterday, we noticed that the power outlet was charred and somewhat melted. This obviously concerned us, and we wanted the problem quickly diagnosed and addressed.

I called Maverick and they arranged to have two electrical service technicians to arrive at my home within 3 hours. These two gentlemen quickly identified the problem and provided options to address. I agreed to move forward, and the work was done immediately. They install new 12-gauge wire (which should have been used in the first place) from the panel through conduct to a new plug. They also installed a whole house surge protector at main electrical panel.

I am very pleased with the service experience. These guys know their business, communicate clearly, and do quality work.

Joshua came out and installed a whole home surge protector in our main electrical panel to protect all of our electronic devices and equipment from damage if there is a power surge. He was on time, knowledgeable and professional. We will use them again when we have electrical work to be done.

Josh and Chris did an outstanding job on my home installing a whole house Cummins generator along with two extra sub panels. Their pricing was fair and competitive and the communication throughout the project was very good. I felt taken care of and they walked me through their work when completed. I highly recommend their services. As a realtor I now have a ""go to"" electrician for my clients.

This is an update to my first review done in February 2021. I used Maverick Electrical Services to ready my house for sale; it was a small job and a ""test"" to see if I might be able to use their services in the future. The contacting, updates and work was great. So when I had a lot more electrical tasks to be done in the house I bought in April 2021 I was hopeful that everything would be as good as it was previously. Unfortunately a big ""no""! The booking process was much further in advance, the technician did an okay job and was not as competent and friendly. The biggest disappointment was in pricing! Maverick Electrical Services has the highest prices for average work with below average customer service. I will not use them again in the future and do not recommend them now. Always hopeful that service companies maintain their quality of service and possibly even improve; it was definitely NOT the case this time.
