I received a coupon in the mail for a $59 A/C Tune-up. I cannot say enough about how pleased I was with the service. Shawn arrived (early, if you can believe that), and immediately put shoe covers over his shoes to protect my flooring. Having lived in Japan, we do not wear our shoes in the house, so I really appreciated that - keeps the house much cleaner. Shawn was extremely knowledgeable, and he spent a great deal of time on my two air conditioning units. He also went up in the attic, checked both thermostats, and e-mailed me a very thorough report. I highly recommend Mauzy, and will certainly call them again (I will ask for Shawn, too!).

Anthony came early which I never expect a company to do. Anthony was highly professional, explained what he intended to do in a very thorough manner. Went about his work and explained in detail what he was doing and suggested what I needed to improve the cooling and heating systems without being pushy. I would highly recommend Mauzy and especially Anthony for any heating and cooling work needed to be done because of their experience and fair cost.

Was introduced to Mauzy through our contractor. Had a great initial meeting and they gave us a quote for both a central and a mini split unit. We were in the middle of renovating and wanted to put it off for a month. When we decided to go ahead with the project, the price had gone up by more than 10% for the exact same unit. I was told the reason was an increase of 6% in their cost for the unit. How an increase in cost of the unit by 6% resulted in an overall total increase of 10% was confusing to my wife and I. I am a working guy who believes in honest pay for honest work, this company was not honest with us. I'm sure they do a great job at what they do, but they lost our business due to a lack of trust. I hope this helps you decide on your next HVAC job.

Let me just say ... Mauzy is amazing. We have done major projects with this company. Our first project was an entirely new, energy efficient, Lennox AC system with all the bells and whistles. They arrived on time, were clean, respectful and just overall top-notch professionals. We then decided to purchase solar with them. Cody Mauzy knew EXACTLY what we needed to ensure we eliminated a bill from SDGE. We went from $500-600 electricity bills to SDGE owing us money. The results exceeded our expectations. Again, a clean, professional, flawless job. Since then we've had a few service visits. These service guys are the best in the business. Always so courteous, clean, smart. I cannot say enough good things about this company. If you're getting estimates for major projects (as we did), I wouldn't waste your time. This company is as good as it gets.

We were introduced to Mauzy through our contractor when we did a second story addition to our home six years ago. During that time they have always been there to service the equipment, new and old, and answer our questions. So when the original AC/heater went out on us for the entire first floor of the house we naturally called Mauzy. The original equipment was 21+ years old.
Tony, the sales rep, was fantastic, outlining our options, costs, and recommendations. He was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the products, building codes, and services based on our needs. He was engaging, knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. Once we selected our replacement, he booked our installation date on the spot. The installers arrived and completed the job in two days.
The installers, Scott, Luis, and Jon, showed up on time with friendly smiles on their faces and began work immediately. They laid down carpet runners and drop cloths from the front door to the hallway attic access. Had to enlarge the attic opening, so down came some drywall and the old pump and heating unit. The AC unit outside was next to go. In one day they had the new AC outside in place and pump and heating unit up in the attic, ready to go. When they left on the first day their clean up was fantastic. Not a piece of anything was on the floors as if the housekeeper had just been there. The second day everything was connected and tested. Scott and Luis worked together like a finely tuned machine. Have to mention again, that Scott and Luis represented what the Mauzy company is all about...friendly, courteous, professional, and efficient. One day later, the attic access was repaired and the entire job completed!
Tony, Scott, and Luis represent the best in the industry, making Mauzy the company we rely on for the absolute best in honest, friendly, and courteous service.

Had appointment for 2:30. 3:15 called to be told 2:30 to 4:30. Email reminder never mentions 4:30.
Asked to speak to a manager. "" in a meeting "" will call when available. Called back to cancel. Still have not heard from manager.

1st Step, Call Mauzy and ask for Cody Mauzy.
2nd Step, meet with Cody and tell him what you want done. (Don't waste your time like I did with the chuck in a truck companies unless you like having random people over)
3rd Step, get it done!

I interviewed 2 other companies for my heating, air conditioning and solar projects. Cody was the only one that actually went in my attic to inspect my ductwork, looked at my panel to see if my homes electrical was sufficient, asked my questions on what I wanted (not what they wanted to sell me), listened to my concerns and offered corrections and actually followed through with what he said he was going to do.

Price wise they were right in the middle but included so much more than everyone else.

I waited a few weeks after all the work was done to write this review to make sure all was good and I couldn't be happier with my decision!

Cody Mauzy, Mikey, Ryan, the Josh's and Derek and everyone in the office in the office that I spoke with was great to work with and I feel like a cheerleader for Mauzy now because I can't stop telling everyone how great it was compared to my previous contractor experiences!

Cody was the coolest guy to work with. So easy going and great to work with. We used the HERO program to have a new furnace and AC for our home. He explained it very well and after lots of research and planning with my wife, we decided to go through with it. We also did windows and artificial turf as well with vendors they referred. We are extremely happy with ALL the work done by all vendors. There were 3 installers on the first day and 2 out of 3 on the next day. All 3 guys were great and worked safely and timely manner. They did have some software issues and after not getting it to work, 2 technicians showed up and tried getting it to work. I'm a huge fan of team work and it made me happy to see all these guys work together to get the job done. I feel terrible I can't remember all the installers names but if I seen them around town I would know who they were because they were so cool. =) I've been referring them to everyone who asks about home renovations and I hope they go through with Mauzy. Thanks again to all of you for taking care of our home.

The Mauzy guys were great. We got several quotes and found we could get more bang for our buck with Mauzy. The install crew did a great job of getting us all set up, and always left the house clean at the end of the day. This was important having 2 little ones running around. We are a month in and couldn't be happier.

Our Mauzy installed HVAC system is not quite a year old, but after receiving a postcard reminding us of ""its time to service"" your AC/Furnace, I once again called Mauzy. They booked a technician to come out the very next day. Sharon was very friendly and helpful over the phone, making it easy to locate my account & book the appointment. I received a confirmation call, later that day, followed by a confirmation that Anthony was to come out between 1230-2pm. Anthony called to give me an estimated time of arrival (which is key when you've got little kids that still nap, errands to run, etc). He arrived on time, and brought his professional Mauzy knowledge with him. He was thorough & respectful of our home, wearing shoe covers while inside. He had all tools necessary to get the job done.

Once again, several months later, we are STILL happy that we went with Mauzy Heating, Air & Solar.
