Mauzy is the ideal place if you would like to be talked down to, your intelligence insulted and have your time wasted; all without getting a quote.

I had them come for a quote visit on a weekday (I was at work and wife was home). Instead of boring you with a diatribe, I can sum up the visit with some paraphrased dialogue. This all happened after he questioned our finances, the fact we were going to pay cash and asking how much we owed on our home.

Technician - ""what kind of unit were you thinking of?""
Wife - ""No idea, we don't know anything about this.""
T- condescending smile and laugh

T- ""we could put the unit right here.""
W- ""No, don't want it there""
T- ""why?""
W- ""it's ugly and in the middle of our yard.""
T- ""what if we put some makeup on it?""

T- ""so, no idea what kind of unit you want.""
W-""No, I thought that's why you are here, to give us options and quotes.""
T- ""maybe I should come back when your husband is here...""

So, be sure to take a class on thermodynamics and research which units will supply the specific cubic feet of your home before contacting Mauzy. Also make sure the ""man"" of the house is home when they come to prevent your stupid wife from asking questions or throw her two cents in. I swear, why do we even let women vote? Their brains are smaller, right?

I'll gladly take my $5-7k job elsewhere.

Update- the business replied saying they had no record of me and asked me to call. Probably in an attempt to label me as a troll. I forgot to mention that when that made a follow up call after my ""quote"" I explained the above experience to the operator and informed them they would not be earning my business. They were pretty quick to get off the phone.

I had a great experience with Mauzy from the beginning of the quote process to the completion of our job. I started my process in early January 2019 to find a good and reputable heating and air conditioning company to install new AC system and to replace 20-year furnace.

After getting 6 bids, I wasn't happy with the services being offered by these companies or their price proposals. I decided to keep searching for the right company and ran across Mauzy during an internet search. Anthony came to my home a week after my initial call to Mauzy. He did a great job listening to our needs, and then explaining about the different Lennox product options, stage and zoning options, installation process and provided a quote the same day. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He understood what our home needed.

Thanks to Anthony - I learned everything I needed to know to make the right choice to go with Mauzy. I decided to purchase the most efficient and most quiet system made by Lennox, their Signature Collection. Also, I decided zoning was the best option for my home, so I can heat and cool upstairs and downstairs separately.

Our installation was a 3-day process and it went very smooth, without any issues. Jose and Aaron were the 2 installers. I couldn't have asked for better installers! These 2 guys worked hard from the time they arrive to the time they left each day. They were very knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. I had a lot of questions throughout the installation process and they were able to address my questions and put me at ease. After the job was completed, Jose gave me a tour of the attic to look over all the new duct work, new furnace, and the new home air purification system in the attic. He explained how to use and program the 2 new thermostats, reviewed the product warranties and provided all the manufacturer's manuals.

It's been a very cold month of February and we've been using the new furnace just about every day. I've noticed a huge difference throughout the house, no more cold pockets downstairs and the unit is very quiet. I am enjoying the wi-fi thermostat and the convenience of controlling the thermostat from my phone.

I am very happy and pleased with our new Lennox heating and air conditioning systems and our experience with Mauzy. I truly appreciate the great work from the Mauzy team, from the initial price proposal to the installation. Thank you to Anthony, Jose, Aaron and Matt Mauzy.

My heat pump wasn't working right. I didn't know who to call. I met Mauzy representative Billy Wear at Lowe's. He convinced me to trust Mauzy. I called, needing an appointment right away because I was leaving town the next day. After a cancellation, they had Ryan, one of their technicians, at my home in an hour. He was polite and caring, and after shadowing him for a couple of hours, he found the problem with my heat pump. I am super pleased with Mauzy's expertise and service. I need additional parts to fix my malfunction and I want Mauzy to do it.

Called Mauzy Heating and Air for a quote and beat all others for what is included I. The package.

Call a company in Escondido that does Solar and A/C however beat that company by a couple of thousand.

I probably should have asked for a quote for Solar as well with Mauzy, however it was too late as went with the other company already.

Now that it's installed I'm sorry I did not go with Mauzy for my Solar as well since I have a horrible experience with the company in Escondido.

From our initial call to book an appointment to the excellent service we received from Mauzy Heating & Air, we were impressed with their friendliness and professionalism. Our technician, Donald, was fantastic. He was efficient and explained are the aspects of his service. He also made recommendations for ways that we could extend the life of our aging furnace. Mausy should feel very fortunate to have employees, such as Donald, providing exemplary service for their customers. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mauzy to our friends and family.

How these guys got 4.5 stars is beyond me. They came out to look at our heating system and said they would get back to us with a solution, its been 10 days, no response. Terrible service. We called a gentleman yesterday, Friday, about our disposal and diswasher, not only did he respond immediately, he came over on Saturday. Everything fixed within 2 hours. Now thats great service. Now thats how its done Mauzy.

We got a good deal from Costco to have our heating and a.c. checked out or serviced. A great young technician came to our home to look things over. Luckily our 9 year old system was still clean and in good working order. We've had service people over the years come to our house for various things. Never have we had anyone as knowledgeable or pleasant as Ehly. He was fun to chat with and get to know as he efficiently did his job. Mahalo Ehly

I recommend Mauzy if you need an air conditioner or heater. We replaced our 30 year old furnace and installed air conditioning, and Chris was VERY thorough in his explanation of our needs and the most cost effective way to air condition our home. The installers were on time, professional, and cleaned up well after installation.
Although not the cheapest estimate (and I got MANY), they were willing to match any company who offered the SAME product and service.
My only complaint is that Chris stayed over two hours in our home, explaining everything and creating an on-site estimate. I would have preferred he sent me the estimate later that day via e-mail, so as not to take up so much of our time.

The thing about Mauzy is, the company has been growing for many years, but the people there always make us feel like favorite customers at a small-town business. We have had the company install three climate control systems in three different homes over the years, and have always been happy with the service, price and quality. This week, we needed service on our furnace, and the lovely Betsy was able to find a way to work us in during a busy week. The technician, Daniel, came to our home today and worked cheerfully for almost 2 hours to wrestle down an elusive problem. Thanks, Betsy, Daniel, and Mauzy! We wouldn't go anywhere else!

Stay away from this company. I ran into one of the representatives in Costco on H street In chula vista. The represntive was great and she set up my appointment up for today at 9am. The driver was late and I received a call from him after our appointment time which went something like this. I recieved a call at 9:05am from Anthony the technician the phone rings and he says ""so where am I going"" I answer with excuse me...and he says it again ""so where am I going"" I proceed with asking so where are you located? He then says ""I'm near some condos"" which doesnt help me help him. So then he says ""ok so what are you trying to get done""? I tell him and then he says ok let me call you back and hangs up...I felt as if I was on an episode of punked because I was confused as to why he would call like that and not state his name and tell me his location. After I canceled the appointment because of the weird phone call and the unprofessionalism, I then received a text message of his location. After the phone call and the nonchalant attitude of the person I called on the phone to cancel the appointment I decided not to answer that text. The person I talk to to cancel the appointment was just like ok well we can remove your number so we dont call you again. Like no we will talk to him about this or nothing. Really weird and Needless to say stay away from this company. They cant even get the initial phone call correct or show up on time, so imagine what they will do in your home. If I can give negative 0 stars I would.
