Mauro's Plumbing saved the day for my grandma. After realizing her plumber had retired, and being told by two other plumbers that they couldn't help her because they were getting their taxes done, Mauro was able to come and fix the problem in less than three hours after calling him. Very knowledgeable and friendly too! We will recommend Mauro's Plumbing to all our family and friends and plan to call him for our family business the next time we have a plumbing issue!

Mauro, my hero!

Had a plugged shower drain and a mysterious overflowing toilet in the spare bathroom. Thought the two might be related, but they were not and Mauro couldn't figure out what was wrong with the toilet. A little disappointing, but it wasn't the cause for my call, the unusable shower was.

He tried snaking the shower drain from the shower itself, but the clog was too far down the trap and he couldn't get a proper angle on it. He came back the next day with a ladder and snaked that clog right on out through the vent on the roof. There's a 2 month warranty on his work and the drain works perfectly. Turns out it was a buildup of rust and minerals, which is why my attempts with Dran-O and more hardcore cleaners didn't work.

I thought I would be charged more than the base quote of $108, because he needed to deal with this over the course of 2 days, but nope! $108 it was. Another plumber I had called wanted to charge $250 for the first hour and $250 for each hour after that... NOPE. So very happy with Mauro and will absolutely call again if more trouble arrises.

Had a great experience with Mauro's Plumbing. Normally if something small came up, my wife and I would try take care of it ourselves. But with the relatively new development of parenting our twin infants, our time and energy is fairly limited. Called and spoke with Amy about a leak in our kitchen sink and Muhammed and Miguel came over the next day. They came within the appointment window, worked quickly and efficiently, and explained the issue and causes to me. When a quasi related issue came up that night, I called and spoke with Amy again the next day. Muhammed came over very quickly, took care of it, and was back on his way. Their team does great work, is friendly and professional, and I would recommend them to friends and family. Thank you guys so much for the help!

Mauro and his staff are very friendly and they do great work: clean, professional and in a timely manner. It is hard to find a qualified and licensed plumber who knows how to replace gas lines. Not to mention, Amy in the office is organized and responds pretty quickly to any questions you may have with bids and scheduling.

First Mauro came for a free estimate, he was very knowledgable about pipes and how the work should be done per the county code. He gave me an outline of what the job would entail and gave me some options to reduce labor/prep work.

2 gas lines needed to be replaced and the HOA company was 3x the cost, Mauro and his helper came on time, only purchased the best parts to code for inspection and installed. After installation, he checked 3 times to ensure everything was sealed properly with a soap test.

He also called to make sure I passed inspection and that I was satisfied in the work done. Paying with credit over the phone is convenient as well!

It's hard to find good, honest local experts... I recommend you add him to your speed dial now!

Yet another example of Mauro's great service: Sunday and the water heater at our other house failed. Called them, and Amy got Mauro over there on his day off, and then he and his assistant had the new water heater replaced within 3 hours! Can't say enough nice things about the level of service provided!!!

Our problem was no problem for Mauro. We had a leak in our pressure valve. We tried to fix it. Lol. Need less to say we didn't have the right tools. Mauro was very straight forward knew what needed to be done and was out in record time! If you need someone who knows what he is doing call this local East Bay company. Plus they have very reasonable rates.

I hired Mauro to replace the gasket and flange of a toilet (the toilet was loose) and to replace a 3rd floor bathtub gasket which was causing a leak through the 3rd floor ceiling to the 2nd floor. Mauro came as scheduled and completed the work within the time frame. Unfortunately the leak continued, however Mauro made himself available the next day to check it out again. Turns out it was an issue with the hot water knob for the tub and he took care of it (without charging extra). The cost was good for the quality of work. He stood by his work, came back to solve the new problem quickly, and was easy to work with. I respect that and will use him again for any plumbing issues.
