Called Mattson plumbing on Monday morning at 8:00 o'clock when I found my water heater leaking. RJ gave me a very reasonable estimate over the phone. I agreed to have him do the work. He was at my house before 11:00 and had my new water heater installed in no time. No fuss, no muss.

Our water heater went out this weekend leaving us with no hot water. Mattson Plumbing was quick to reply and came out on the very same day. He was able to get us up and running with hot water again. Mattson Plumbing was highly recommended to me by neighbors on Next Door. Originally I needed a diagnosis of a sink water water pressure problem and installation of two new bathroom faucets. After meeting RJ, I understood the sink problem. I thought he was smart and professional. Little did I know that 24 hours later I would need him for a broken copper pipe emergency! RJ and crew showed up the next morning on time, organized, and very empathetic about my new disaster, but most importantly expertly took care of the problem and hauled out the mess of paper tarps, bins full of water, and the chunks of wet sheet rock. I can happily join my neighbors in highly recommending RJ Mattson/Mattson Plumbing--they go the extra mile!!

I needed a plumber to go into my crawl space to review an area that has standing water. RJ came to the house on time, reviewed the crawl space area affected and explained that two sump pumps were needed in the future. He gave me recommendations for water removal companies on the spot

He was courteous and professional, I will use him again for the sump pump installations as well as other plumbing needs.

RJ came out this morning and identified where he believed my leak was coming from in my attic and recommended that I call a HVAC company as he believed it was coming from my AC unit. What I was impressed with is he did not charge me for this visit. I did have an HVAC company come out later in the day and RJ was right, it was my AC unit. I would definitely call RJ back out if I need a plumber.

Don't waste your time. Call someone else.
I scheduled an appointment to have a leaking kitchen faucet replaced. I had all the parts and tools needed. RJ knew what was supposed to be done. Waited 2 days for the appointment. RJ arrived, but did no work even though he had said he would replace it that day. RJ wanted to be shown around the house ""to check our toilet valves""... this had absolutely nothing to do with the job he was asked to do. Seemed like a very odd request. Either he's casing houses or trying to create more work. I didn't show him around.
He then said he could come Saturday (2 days later) to replace the faucet. We were a little surprised that he didn't do the work when he was supposed to, but agreed to have him come back so we didn't have to start over with someone else. 15 minutes before he was supposed to be here he called claiming he had a flat and couldn't get here until later. After texting with no response and waiting 8 hours for him to show up I finally called someone else (Applied Home Maintenance). They came and fixed it right away. The day after I got a text from RJ asking if I still wanted him to do it. The excuses he gave for not showing and not calling or texting were bs. He just blew us off plain and simple. Very unprofessional.
