Cj. Did a great job. Matt's plumbing make a appointment right away. Cj show up on time , Right away started to work on the different issues Around on the house Completed the job with a professionalisms. Clean , well done and fast

CJ was very professional and explained everything he was doing to fix our master sink issue. He spent time diagnosing the issue and answered all of the questions I had which made me feel comfortable and reassured. I appreciated the text and email when he was en route to our home giving me an eta. The receptionist was also very pleasant over the phone. I would use Matt's Plumbing in the future.

Matt was contracted through American Home Sheild to come fix a simple refill rate issue on a single toilet. After a miscommunication through the 3rd party on times, the plumber showed up, saw no one was home and left. It's been 6 weeks- I've called 3x/week from different numbers to reschedule and they've all been let to VM with no calls or emails back. Must be because they were already paid out. I could have gone to plumber school, figured out how to fix the issue, fixed the toilet, and moved on to another project in less time, with less stress, and spent less money than dealing with Matt's. I'd rather use a 5 gallon bucket than let Matt's come fix my toilet.

This company is awful. They contract for American Home Shield. I had them come out for a dripping faucet in my bathtub. They sent out a young guy who immediately says oh that handle was turned too tight and that caused the drip. So he writes that up and sends it to AHS who then denies my claim, and they charge me a $125 service call for doing nothing. I had to call out a reputable plumber myself, and he even wrote on my invoice that the cause was normal wear and tear. It's a 20+ year old shower that they don't even sell parts for anymore. I had to replace the entire shower assembly because all the pieces are dated and don't match up. That cost me over $700. Gee Matt's Plumbing, maybe that's why it dripped, because it's old???? Kinda like a 20+ year old car breaks and leaks too. Matt's gets paid anyway for coming out and rendering their forensic scientific opinions, even though they produced absolutely zero evidence that the cause was over tightening. What a gravy train they have going. Anyway that's how they treated me. I will let every breathing human know my experience with them. I also cancelled The warrantee company who rewards them for this practice.

Great local family owned plumbing business in Tampa. I'm overdue in reviewing as we had our service call October 3rd but better late than never I suppose. Sunday night we opened our bathroom sink cabinet to find standing water. Eek! There was a slow drip so were able to turn of the valves but it had to be fixed! First thing Monday morning I was calling for help to Matt's Plumbing. Within a couple hours, Jake came to the rescue. He was able to diagnose and fix the bad cartridge and we haven't had a problem since. Thanks everyone for swooping in.

Young Jake came in and told me the previous plumber had mashed my hot water stem so hard that he could not get it out. He then called my American Shield Home Warranty and told them there was no mechanical problem with my shower! He did not even bother to take off the cold water handle that the previous bad plumber had put on backwards with the wrong stem. He left without doing anything. This was the second company sent to me because the previous one had put in the wrong stems and caused the water to build up pressure in the gooseneck that came out in a rush in the middle of the night. Their second man told me to just leave my new hose dangling. Home Warranty made me give the first company a third chance to fix it, but he made it much worse by jamming the wrong stems in the hot water and reversing my cold water.

I had a repair that was completed by Matt's Plumbing. Their plumber was excellent and went well above and beyond to make sure that this was an excellent experience. Unfortunately it was marred by the fact that American Home Shield was also involved in the repair. Despite AHS doing everything in their power to make this as unpleasant as possible, the people at Matt's left me feeling very positive about the whole experience. I would recommend Matt's to anyone. I would not recommend AHS to anyone.

Getting a call back after leaving a message 3 times still hasn't happened. Missed my scheduled appointment they said they would come back later that day and never did so I took off for no reason. I don't know how this is even a business with customer service this poor.

Unfortunately trying to get return phone calls back from ahs and Matt's plumbing has been a challenge. We continue to get different stories from ahs and no return calls from Matt's plumbing. Bigger problems in the world but avoid at all costs.

The main drain In my home became clogged which caused the toilets, bathtubs and sinks to backup into my home. My home warranty company assigned my case to Matt's. Monica in the office called me very quickly and moved heaven and Earth to get a technician out to my home right away because our water was shut off to avoid further flooding. Within a few hours, technician/ plumbing wizard, Daniel arrived and he quickly set about assessing my issues in formulating a plan of action. He was polite and informative. He was not condescending (even though i followed him around asked him a million questions). He was very kind and careful to explain to me exactly what was covered under my home warranty and what was not. For the uncovered items, they gave me a very reasonable estimate and he was able to repair everything today. Even though my issues were complicated and frustrating, he never lost his cool. He was very calm and methodical. His grasp of plumbing and the way it works and his expert knowledge of his craft made me feel so at ease. Knowing that I had someone not who just knows how to fix things, but who likes to understand how they work and why something is happening. He was sweet to my dogs and respectful of my home and belongings. He didn't judge me because my kitchen was dirty and my house needed to be cleaned. It never fails that these inconvenient things never happen when your house is ready for company. Plumbing problems, backed up toilets, and sink stoppages are always inconvenient and they're always annoying.... and you never are prepared to spend money on them unexpectedly. But my experience with Monica & Daniel at Matt's Plumbing made the whole experience far less stressful then it would have been. And I'm very grateful for that. I can say without hesitation that I would recommend Matt's plumbing to anybody in the greater Tampa Bay area who needs a quality job done at a fair price
