We had a total clogged sewer line a month after moving into our newly remodeled home. Called Matt's plumbing to correct, the guy who came did not try to clear the issue and told me stories of how plumbing from houses in my neighborhood was made of tar and cardboard. He suggested a new line be installed to the road at a very high price. I had no idea what the cost should be but have since learned that I paid about 3X too much. They installed about 40' of pvc pipe with 3 clean outs and charged me $6,500. Once the trench was dug (about 32ft) it was found that the pipe was actually cast iron and the clog was where it connected to the city sewer line. They also found there was concrete poured over the connection to the main pipe and said this was unusual, they had never seen anything like this before. I asked them if they would follow up with the city to determine what that was since this is where the clog was found and they agreed. After waiting a week I finally hear back from Matt's as they wanted payment, I asked what was found from the city and they said they did not speak with them, the inspector just went off of pictures. I explained what they informed me of and asked they follow up with the city and they kept saying that was not their responsibility. The office manager did contact some folks with the city to no avail. I was then contacted by Josh asking for payment, he is the supervisor I spoke with while the work was being done. This time, the story of what was wrong changed and he claims my issue was from roots in my cast iron line under my sidewalk. I have no idea why the story changed, it did not benefit anyone, just very odd and while I liked Josh, it made me immediately distrust him after giving him opportunities to correct what he was saying. The issues were described to me by him and his guys when doing the work and did not involve any roots... the issue was at the connection to the city main. I still can not imagine what his point was to change what they told me already, seems like they just wanted their money and did not care to ensure things were right so their first story was not working for them. I basically paid way too much and am waiting for more issues as the original problem was never addressed. I would not recommend Matt's plumbing and will never use them again.

i had them come out to my house to fix my kitchen drain. it was clogged from the dishwasher. they were here about 45 min. they needed no parts and it cost me $360.00 . to me this is way to much money. i have used them for the last time.

Terrible Terrible Terrible. They came and charged $300 to unclog a sewer pipe by pushing their camera thru the clog, no snake needed is what the guy told me hmm, then I was told they couldn't guarantee it unless I paid an additional $600 to have my pipes pressure washed and also that my 2 year old toilet was no good and needed to be replaced as well I declined and 2 days later it was clogged again and they had the nerve to tell me it was because I did not do what they recommended. I called another Plumber that did the job right with a snake. Have not had any more problems and was cheaper too. I tried to contact the manager at Matts and he would not call me back

Best plumber anywhere! The guys were all super nice and they did an outstanding job. We are finally leak and flood free. They had to fix 3 other plumbers work who had botched the job before.

Needed a garbage disposal replaced. The disposal itself cost abt $100- they charged me $285 to install! They are WAY overpriced:(. They did give me quote - I just wanted it installed ASAP and didn't want to have to call someone else over. I will NEVER use them again. Don't know WHERE all these good price reviews came from on them! Rob you blind! Which- the service guy even said he could prob change it blindfolded. Talk abt added insult to injury.

We had an annoying drip from the bathtub faucet. Jake with Max plumbing came out twice he was able to help stop the drip and then fixed a under sink shut off valve that was stripped. He had to change it to a quarter lock valve and did some welding and shouldering. He initially charged $200 for the job but after seeing I was not happy with the price. Called his supervisor and gave a fair price.He was clean and courteous with his service, he did have several phone calls coming in during his service related to a scheduling emergency. Otherwise no complaints.

Our toilet was leaking around the base. Matt's pluming came out and picked up the toilet and dropped it on a cloth on the floor. Dropping it caused a permanent mark/indentation on our tile. They denied that they had made the mark despite the fact that the house had been cleaned by a professional that morning and had no marks until after Matt's came. Also the mark is in the shape of a toilet base. Also the caulking around the base is already cracking! They returned our first call, but ignored other calls.
