Mattioni attempted to scam us in November 2024 by saying our hvac was not functioning properly and brought in a supervisor to explain the issue and say we needed a new system right away. They were there for a tune up, which never happened. We could save money if we gave them $5,000 by the following day when their promotion ended. I said we've had zero problems with the system and I've never just signed a contract without getting other estimates and opinions. The supervisor stayed around for another half hour outside at the compressor for (measurements). During this time he apparently unplugged the capacitor herm and left it sitting inside the system. By the next day when the weather turned much colder our hvac was no longer working properly and made loud noises and the house was cold. Our electric bill was astronomical during that period of time. Finally got a second opinion within a few weeks and have photos of the unattached capacitor. Not only did they try to sell us an unnecessary new system, but fraudulently attempted to ruin our existing system. Use Mattioni at your own peril. The president of the company did not feel that fraudulent behavior by his employees deserved a follow up call. Absolutely despicable company.

Do not trust this company I had a clog and the technician took the porcelain knobs on either side of of the toilet. When asked about it, he said he didn't see them. They were there. He gave me plastic ones to put on. This is my second post because took it down. Only showing 5 stars

Overestimated the time to complete an 9 hr job by scheduling a 16 hr window (2 guys x 8 hrs) and charged for 16 hrs regardless. I'd imagine they did the same for the materials, 60 feet of duct needed but they quoted 200. Got the job done, but probably twice the price of what it should have been.

Worst service Ever, especially if u take up their Annual Maintenance Contract. I have been rescheduled 3 times over months and every time they give the same BS excuse...heavy emergency calls. and they reschedule to 1 month out. Every time, a day before the service they will send a message one day prior stating the technician is coming tomo so make sure someone is at home. followed by a text message the next day that the technician is running late and followed by cancellation and then later on a call asking to reschedule. Everytime like clockwork. Once can be genuine, Two times, you start doubting and 3 times u know its all a farce.
if you are like me and tries to look at people grievances in the reviews, my suggestion would be to take your business elsewhere. There are many ""Fish"" in ocean. Dont spend your hard earned money on these clown-fish of a business.

Absolute robbery, unprofessional, overcharge 10x more than an average plumber. Had the audacity to charge almost $1000 for pipe de thawing (not even a burst pipe) and arrived a day late for the work. Had previous pipe replacement work done in the same home from a burst pipe 2 years prior a small family owned plumber for $450. MATTIONI is the worst, would give 0 stars if I could.

False advertising. They dispatched a technician, $75 dispatch fee which was disclosed upon scheduling . Technician arrives and after measuring the temp of airflow in my unit tells me further diagnostics are needed at a RATE OF $113 per FIFTEEN MINUTES in addition to labor and parts once issue diagnosed. False advertising as Mattoni advertises ""charging for the job not by the hour"". They were not honest and transparent about their hidden fees nor did they offer any customer service recovery once this was brought to their attention.

Low quality company with inexperienced techs. They came out to do a tune up on my oil boiler and told me there was an issue with the emergency shut off valve, but that they don't fix that. I found a company that does fix it--when that company came out, they found nothing wrong with the emergency shut off valve. Mattioni just has no idea what they're doing.

Same inexperience and low quality goes for my AC service. I no longer work with them. Boyle is great for oil furnaces and Cermignano is for AC.

after spending $10,000 for a new heating and air conditioner a year ago I cannot get these people to come and help me figure out my thermostat
I am an 83 year old widow and not computer savvy they want me to pay 75.00 for this information which would probably take 5 minutes for them.
I guess it's all about the money I would not recommend Mattioni to any one I can only say I will get my satisfaction on their JUDGMENT DAY....

Mattioni canceled my appointment for my HVAC service. I do not recommend hiring this company at all, poor service, and no one will call you back to resolve the issue

A few more years have passed and my 12 year old water heater was still not leaking. Got tired of looking at the new water heater that I purchased in my utility room so I installed it. Maybe I should drop the old one off at Mattioni's because it still works!
