I'm giving them a one star because it's not possible to give them a Zero, which is what they are. Needed to have my house winterized last November, and found them in Yelp. Fred the Plumber from Hell arrived with a very arrogant and misogynistic attitude. He did not want me to speak to him or even show him where the basement was. ""I'm going to follow the pipes"" he told me. After 1 hour he told me he was done. I was shocked and asked him if he blew out the pipes as the previous plumber used to take 4-5 hours winterizing the house. He seemed to be annoyed by me speaking to him and said: ""that is not necessary. All that needs to be done is to drain the pipes."" I asked whether he used antifreeze; again, he said: ""that's not necessary except for the toilets."" He then wrote up a list of items he ""would like to do next Spring during the re-opening"". (He spoke to me as though he was the owner of the house, and I was a small child.) He seemed more intent on adding sales items than to take care of the task at hand. Upon re-opening the house on 5/11/23, he found a ""leak"" and blamed it on the copper piping, telling me I would need to replace all the copper piping. He told me he'll ""come back sometime next week to fix the leak"". I'm still waiting... I spoke to the company secretary, Elise, several times and asked to speak to the owner, Justin Mattice. She responded that ""it's not company policy for Justin to call up customers"". (???) To date, no one has called to apologize or even acknowledge that there was a problem. Meanwhile I have over $10,000 in damages to 4 broken pipes, the furnace which was hit by the spraying water, a retention tank which gushed water and the water softener and carbon filter froze and cracked at the base. He also had removed the shutoff valve for no apparent reason which caused all kinds of chaos during the leaks. It is just now, about 6 weeks later, that I am finally able to do other things besides mopping up the mess that was left in my house. Use them at your own peril, and only if you enjoy dealing with broken pipes and leaking water systems.

Price gouged me on an emergency plumbing repair at a rental property I own. 35 years of owning property I've never been taken advantage of like that. What should of been a $300-$400 job, they charged me $1000. Stay away!

Mattice just did an emergency replacement of a furnace during the recent freezing cold spell. Their guys, Shane and Brandon, showed up on time, did the work as quickly as possible, very responsible and hard workers. I'll hold off on a final star only because this is so recent. Shane also assisted in getting hold of a good electrician, quickly, needed because of a serious electric problem. Once the electric was taken care of, they returned to make sure that all was working correctly. Nicely done. The kind of think your hate to have to do, so it is really nice that they made it as painless as possible. A big thanks.

called Aliese last Tuesday l was promised a call back which never came. l called back a few days later. l did receive a call in the morning saying Justin would be in my area shortly. l called back as soon as l could in the afternoon. l was told it was too late. It has been a week and a day of multiple phone calls on my end with only two returned. They said perhaps they could take on my heating problem in the summer ...air conditioner season. They did finally admit to wasting my time and that they have no intention of doing the work. l'm not sure how they got the high ratings or testimonials for showing up in a timely manner.
