I had an urgent plumbing need today and called Matthew's Plumbing based on all of the great reviews on Yelp. I called and spoke with Matthew over the phone (he actually answered the call) and advised him of my problem, a broken toilet in the guestroom bath that was causing water to leak from the shutoff valve onto the floor. Matthew told me that he could come out the next day as he was at a job and had another one to go to after he was finished. After hearing my frustration about having to try take time off from work again the next day, and my major concern over the water dripping quickly onto the floor, Matthew said he would fit me in before heading off to his next scheduled job. I have a feeling he may even given up his lunchtime to come over as I called him around noon. Matthew said he would be over in about twenty minutes and showed up as promised Not only did he get everything fixed in about an hour, he didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and what he charged for everything was extremely reasonable, especially since other places would most likely have added a surcharge for not having an appointment or for being an emergency situation. I don't make a habit of writing reviews on Yelp or anywhere else for that matter, but I felt that since Matthew's service was so professional, honest, timely and fair that I couldn't resist making sure that I shared my experience with as many people as possible. Definitely a 5-star person and company!

We had a clogged pipe in the kitchen so I called Matthew. As soon as he got done with the job he was on, he called me back and came right over. He was quick and efficient in snaking the pipe that went out to the street. He was so kind and patient as my 89 year old dad told him stories of his service in the marines. And, of course, we no longer have a clog. Matthew's a keeper!!
