We are a family-operated plumbing company founded by Handel Matley Sr., who initiated his plumbing career in 1927. In 1958, led by Handel Matley Jr., Matley Plumbing and Heating established itself in the Pepperell, MA community and has been supporting the Central Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire areas ever since. The Matley sons have followed in their father's footsteps as we celebrate our fourth generation of plumbers.
Handel Matley Jr. represents the second generation of our plumbing family. He earned his degree from the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology and possesses over 61 years of knowledge in the plumbing and heating industry. Everyone at Matley's affectionately calls him ""Matt"", he opened our Pepperell, MA location in 1958. He holds Master Plumber licenses in two states, a gas fitter, and an accomplished trumpet player! In his spare moments, Handel can be found chatting about politics and tinkering with his 1960 Corvair.

Miss.Gulch K.Everything they have done in my house had to be re-done. Just one example; a gas line for an appliance was improperly installed according to the fire department. Cost me $450 to have corrected. I've discovered their primary focus is pools and spas. They should stop advertising plumbing and just stick with pools/spas.
Steve O.We had an issue with the relay board and circulation pump on our Caldera hot tub. I was worried because it was during a winter cold spell. Two Mately guys arrived on the date promised and had the parts with them in the truck. They swapped out the parts and we were back in operation in 2 hours. And there was no charge as it was under warranty. An excellent experience and I'd highly recommend them.
