hired to install pedestal sink. initial quote high but then It doubled when additional parts ordered with underestimation of cost. we contested final price and Mathis did take off 100 but the final cost still over $1000 for installation - this does not include cost of sink, faucet, trim kit which we purchased separately. Unfortunately the sink is not level and is now leaking. we contacted Mathis but bc """"we supplied the parts"""" they do not guarantee the work so it would cost us more if they came out to fix it. Having to hire another plumber to rip out sink and reinstall. end of the day this half bath pedestal sink will cost us over $2000 to install. we are beyond disappointed in the lack of competence and transparency from Mathis. since our experience multiple friends have noted they have had overpriced inadequate service with Mathis.

Best plumbing company in Greenwood! They have the nicest, most knowledgeable staff around. They were on time when I called for their services. They showed up when they said they would and got the work done quickly. Price was very fair and they were very respectable. I will be using Mathis Plumbing again. I highly recommend their services.

Unstopped a bathroom sink and repaired a broken toilet. The work completed was reasonably priced and completed very quickly. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

Great job at a fair price. The tech came the same day and gave me several options to choose from. He was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Over priced. Two separate visits to unstop the main to our septic tank. First visit cost $321. They told us if it stopped again they would run a camera down the line at no charge. Six months later the line stopped again. Camera showed a crack and partial blockage in the line. Despite taking the same amount of time the new bill was $568 with another $6,000 estimate to remove a section of our deck (7 feet by 10 feet) and replace three feet of sewer line and install one cleanout. I pulled a few deck boards to give myself some extra head space (space under deck was about 3 feet) and spent an hour or so digging the line to expose how far it was cracked. A second contractor looked at the pipe and charged us only $938 to replace the line with two clean outs. They also said they could have easily done the job without removing any deck boards. Mathis wanted $2,500 to do the $938 job and another $3,500 to remove a deck that really wasn't in the way. They did discount me $100 after I complained to management but there are cheaper and more reliable licensed contractors than Mathis in my opinion.

Updating review. They did come back and fix the previous work. Prices are at a premium and significantly higher than a local guy. Staff and technicians are very friendly and professional.

I hired Mathis to install soil pipe and waste water drain lines beneath the cement floor of the unfinished lower level of my home. They were prompt, professional and courteous from start to finish. I've worked with many contractors over the last 40+ years and the results have ranged from good to terrible--Mathis rates as one of the best.

Let's just put it this way stay away from the big bad bullies at Mathis plumbing first they ask you for a review on how the technician did. Not sure how it goes if you get good service but let me tell you if it's bad they get upset and not with the employees no with the costumers. First they ask you to remove the review then they start with threats and when Stacy Mathis doesn't get the job done the big boss come in to save the day with his threats. Mind you all the same as Stacy. Never once apologize or accepted the fact they left my family without water and a dismantled tankless water heater. And I'm sure they will most likely come at me again so stay tuned because I saved all the text messages between all three of us and I will post them for the world to see just how Mathis plumbing really is.

Only to say I contacted them and I knew it would be an initial fee which was 49$ water flowing outside so they got the water stopped immmediatly a s thanks but before they left I had a bill approximately 400$ and WHY? That stated how they would have to dig up that area ....of my yard for correct the issue by replacing new pipes for the house was built in 1945 understandable for my husband before his death about 10 yrs prior had replaced most of the plumbing with PVC and ? Pipes ok I was Given an estimate of a few thousands the cost and the urgency to have it done felt pressured also which was about 8 yrs ago they recommended to keep water turned off for the gauge was showing a leak somewhere mainline and turn back when I need to get water my regular plumber came out that evening and #1 couldn't understand why they told me to keep water off and Stan my regular plumber educated me on how to detect a leak and how the gauge would appear if..I I had a leak and it didn't.. also had Cpw to come out to d check and they detect No leak ..again As I stated above Felt pressured in getting work done NO I DIDNT PAY THE BALANCE OF THE BILL ONLY PD $75 FOR I COULD NEVER UNDERSTAND HOW DID I GET SUCH A BILL UNDERSTOOD 49 initial fee but Couldn't understand the additional fee just to inform me what could be the issue and no one never explained how was the bill as such for I paid the initial fee and he gave me a estimate of what he thought should be done..but I received a statement showing approximately 400$ and as of today I don't know why???for I felt being pressured and d being a female and after 2 experts afterwards didn't detect no leak.....STILL WHY??THE FEE ..trying to locate my original statement and will bring into your office as needed

Mathis scores a 5 again! I contacted the weekend phone number and was told that it would be overtime charges for work done after hours or on weekends. I expected this and was not surprised. Was glad to hear this from the service guy. My air was not working and I really wanted the air back on. He told me he would be happy to come out and have a look to see if he could get it up and running, but was not sure if he would have all the parts he would need until he checked. If he needed parts he did not have on the truck, that would have to be done on Monday when he could get the parts needed. I agreed, so he came right away. As it turned out, he was able to make a small repair and the cost to me was very reasonable. I am very happy and will continue to use Mathis.
