Called in the morning for a clogged toilet line and was given a couple hour window. They arrived a couple hours later as promised. They were in my house from 12:15 to 1:55 to scope the line with a camera and snake it out. I was very happy with the service and response time. They were friendly efficient and fixed the problem. However to my disappointment the bill came to $906 after less than 2 hours of work! That's $450/hr for a ""non-emergency"" call to clear a toilet. This is outright gouging and unacceptable! They were 5 stars right up to the point where I got the bill. I don't care how good the service is there is no service worth $450/hr. Especially for a non-emergency call. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

I spoke to the owner who is a straight shooter. Serviceman was there by noon the next day after my call with Drew at 5pm on a Thursday. Nikita is at the office during the day and quite professional. Mr. Rooter was at the house in the past and now sure how I stumbled on them. Serviceman wanted to tear out the pipes below the house and I was skeptical and said, ""no thanks."" No mention of such an issue with Mathis in Point Pleasant NJ. Thank you.

Our sewer line was clogged with tree roots, and sewage was bubbling up into the downstairs toilet and bath. Many thanks to Mike who cleared it out and also advised my kids on what NOT to flush down the toilet. Scotts single ply from now on!!!

Mathis Brothers was here within 15 minutes of calling them to clear a very clogged kitchen sink. They were professional and polite. Took care of the problem and were on their way in less than 20 minutes.
I would highly recommend them to anyone. The charge was reasonable. Definitely would not hesitate to use this company again!

They were recommended to do a sewer cleanup and investigation. They came within a couple of hours. They were only interested in a quick fix . They never told me the price. They admitted they did not do anything for me. Charged $426 for less than half hour work. Snaked the sewer drain through the toilet. Absolutely nothing came out. They could not by pass the trap and were not interested in locating and snaking the cleanup under my house. They went through the toilet. replaced the toilet, put a new seal over the old seal and left. They refused to rectify the real issue.

I would not recommend them to anyone.

Do not use this company. They will charge you whatever they want and call it whatever they want Charged me $ 1500.00 for an issue that should have been less than $ 300.00 Because they caused a bigger problem and had me up against a wall. Attitudes not good either

Called Mathis on the recommendation of Dickson and within an hour or so, they were here handling our bathroom problem. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the gentleman who did the work but he was friendly, pleasant and took care of the issue quickly and cleanly. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them in the future if I need their services!

$300 for ten minutes to snake out a drain. Claimed it was ""tree roots"" and suggested we hire them every year to come and snip some roots again! Last time we had this problem was 6-7 years ago and Roto-rooter charged us $130 with no suggestion that we have them return on a yearly basis.
