This guys are crooks , I spoke with them and told them from the start I needed to pump my septic tank and will probably need to have my drain field replaced very soon but I did not decide what contractor I would choose for the job. I also confirmed that the special they have for 150 $ to pump the tank has no strings attached .Once they came out they said they cannot pump the tank for 150 , if I only want to do the pumping they wanted to charge me 500 $. The never mention in their advertising that the 150 special comes with strings attached and not even when you talk to them on the phone to schedule the appointment. Very deceiving , classic bate and hook strategy ....mad at myself I fell for it ......I was lucky I could find another company who came out and pumped the tank the same day . This company does not care to help the customer , after they lie and put you in a bad situation they do not even try to make it right R.G.

If I could give less stars I would. On their website they advertise a $150 cleaning/pumping and$99 inspection fee. We scheduled for them to come out. After waiting most of the day we called to check their status. Apparently they can't pump our tank for that price and they were not going to come . It's unclear as to why they advertised it at that rate. What a waste of time. At least I'm glad they didn't get here and up charge me at that point. That gives them one star. False advertising gets them a bad yelp.

I would not give them one star but I had to chose something. I cannot speak to their ability to actually pump a septic tank as they never made it that far. I set up an appointment online. I was called back to confirm and asked if I could potentially move the time ahead in the day. We moved the time up one hour. After the agreed upon appointment time had lapsed by 2 hours I called them again asking the status. I was told that the technician was running a little late. Ok no biggie, right? A proactive call from them would have been the proper way to handle this. At the four hour mark past the appointment time I called again to tell them that I had scheduled plans in an hour. They told me that they were going to call me in 15 minutes but that the technician was stuck in traffic and that they wouldn't be able to get to me until after then. Ok. Let's try and reschedule. The next scheduled appointment time was mutually agreed upon. Again two hours had passed before I called to inquire as to where or when they would expect to be on site. This time I requested to speak to a manager as I was getting attitude. Hello, I am trying to give you business and you are giving me """"tude"""". Jerk! I was able to get a manager and this guy hit all of the notes. He said all of the right things, was giving me the royal treatment. So I think, hmmm, maybe I will give you another shot. I was told """"just give me 15 minutes and I will get back with you"""". He called in about 5 minutes asking if I could be there instead of just my wife. I don't know what he was expecting me to do that my wife could not. It's not like either one of us were going to be an integral part in this process, besides writing the check. I told him that I could not as I had made plans to be there at the previous appointment the day before and could not continue to take time off from work to support something that may or not happen. He starts in to the song and dance that he is concerned as it has been 8 years since my last service. Ok enough. At this point I told him let's just forget it as I am starting to doubt their abilities in general. It was as if I relieved him of some kind of burden. No biggie. I guess that they are finding enough business to not and try and get mine. Frustrating experience. Just glad that it didn't go any further. Called another service was called back within 10 minutes and they were on site within the hour. WOUL:D RATHER LET THE POOP FLOW IN MY HOUSE THAN TO USE THEM!!!!!!!!!

Complete rip off. $3000 later and my septic was still bad. Even the county said they did everything wrong. They are by far the worst in the area. Don't call - Don't let them near your septic system.

Do not hire this company! Had a clogged line to septic tank and called them to clear line and pump septic tank. They told me that my drain field was failing and that I needed to chemically treat drain field or I would have to replace the entire septic system which would be over $ 6500. After negotiations agreeded on $3200 for work of pumping tank and drain field, installing two clean outs, installing new baffles on septic tank and chemically treating drain field. They only installed one clean out which is sticking up a foot into the air in the back yard and now we have a large amount of waste water bubbling up around the clean out leaking into the back yard. Have called them multiple times concerning the problem yet Master Rooter will not respond. I also put the charges in dispute with American Express who credited my account for the charges but I have still not heard back from Master Rooter. Save yourself from all this trouble and hire a different company.

made an appointment on their site, not only did they not ever call back or contact back in any way, but when i tried to call them on the day of the supposed appointment they said """"have you looked outside, its puring rain"""" as if im supposed to know after no one called back that they would like to reschedule. i told them i don't know what you mean since you never called me in the first place, and i was already frustrated, and they just said """"you should call someone else"""" and hung up. thank god we didn't go with them, if this is just how their first phone call is, i am pretty sure their service overall would be just as much of a hassle and frustration

While I can't speak to this companies ability to pump a septic, I can tell you that its the most unprofessional group of guys ever assembled in one company that I ever dealt with. I am a retiree and I have been around the block a time or two. (Although you can't tell from my age.) Master rooter first came out to pump my septic for $299 which was agreed upon over the phone. When they arrived, I already noticed the lead guy trying to make excuses for why it was gonna be more money and he was saying that it could be a nightmare since I haven't pumped it in 10 years. (Never mind the fact that I have never had a problem,) this person was talking nonsense before even opening the lid to the tank.. He even went to the extreme of telling me that my neglect (of not having it pumped) could cost me upwards of $60,000. The third time he said this, I realized I was dealing with a scammer. Once this person realized I was not impressed with the garbage flowing from his mouth and that I wasn't gonna budge, he came up with a story that the PTO on their pump truck was broken and they were not gonna be able to pump my septic. I asked when they could be back and he said later that day (Friday) or Sat. or Monday at the latest. They never called me and I followed up several times. Finally I said forget it but I called and stated that I still expect them to come back and fix the irrigation line they broke (oh yeah, I forgot to mention) To make matters worse, They punched a hole through my valve on my irrigation line while searching for the septic tank. Even though I told them my tank was closer to the house, they insisted it wasn't and poked the ground over 20 feet from where I said the tank was. I offered to pay for the new valve if they would just come back and do the labor. They said no problem. Promised on 3 different days to come out. They never showed up and here it is 1 week later and they still haven't called. I went out this morning, bought the new valve and replaced myself so now I get a chance to vent. These people are completely a bunch of lying worthless people who make their living off taking advantage of people who may be vulnerable. I have sinced called Advanced Septic who quoted $400 and came out and did exactly what they said. They didn't cry about what a nightmare the job was gonna be and didn't break anything and did their job just like one would expect. I wish I would have looked at reviews before calling master rooter. I also heard that the only website this company has good reviews on were posted there by the company themselves which makes sense. So bottom line. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from these dishonest people as possible.

What a JOKE!! So we heard an ad for septic pumping $150. We called...they came out and quoted $2500 for work we """"needed""""....field lines dug up...chemical treatment...all sorts of things. Mmm hmm. When we refused the $2500 """"recommended services"""" they filled up the holes, packed up and left. and charged $100 on top of it all. So...another company came out this morning...Said nothing is wrong just needed to be pumped. Said they get 2-3 calls every week about the same company taking advantage because most people just don't know!! I understand the bottom line. How about some integrity? DO NOT call these people.
