The most dishonest and unprofessional company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. $140 pump out went a max $700 to $800 and I was finally taken for $1250. This was after they did not show up the first day, scheduled for between 9:00 and 11:00 AM again no show the second day until mid afternoon, again scheduled for 9:00 to 11:00 AM. The did show up, but without a pump truck. Finally showed up in the afternoon of day 3. I hope readers take these reviews to heart and do not fall prey to Master Rooter.

One of the most dishonest business I've ever seen. I had them do work on my septic tank. And try try to bill me for work they did not proform, try to say I need work that was not needed. I would not recommend this company to anyone

Allen came and fixed an issue for me. We bought this house one year ago and decided to get it serviced. Unfortunately we inherited a mess but caught it just in time. Easy to schedule, super friendly and great service. Highly recommend.

This company is amazing. Scott and john came to our rescue, we could not use our toilets, shower, washing machine, nothing. Once i called everything was finished within hours and I was more educated on my septic tank. These guys are fast, professional and smart. I highly recommend them for any septic needs. They are also family owned.

Do NOT trust this company!!! They pull the classic bait and switch on those that don't know any better. They gave my 75 year old dad a price for the first one foot of sludge to pump. Approx $280. When the Tech arrived within 15 minutes - without inspecting ANYTHING - the price was $1,500. My dad was told there would be about 4 foot of sludge to pump, the filter would need to be replaced and the drainage field would need to be pump out and again, this was with out looking at anything. Number 1) you don't replace filters you hose them off and number 2) the drainage field works just find. I designed and built the house myself. I know how the septic and drainage field work. Apparently, they only like to talk to those that don't know any better because I have called twice and the Tech is never available to talk to. It has been a week. Conversely, they quickly came out the same day after the initial call to scam my dad of the $99 dollar diagnostic fee, which consisted of 15 minutes of chit chat and pressure my dad to promise not to compare their price with another company.

I call this company around 9am, After waiting almost all day for them to show up, (4pm) the guy was telling me that he has to let go 2 houses just because of me calling in the morning. He started asking me if I know how to take care the septic tank and saying that they will charge me $2400 just for pumping the septic tank... that was crazy!! The lady at the office told me that will be $150 for 1000 gallons !! I ask the guy why they will charge $2400 and he said, because they don't have history of my property on their company!! Never call this company!!!!!

My experience was bad, I was charged $1500. for a 2 hour job. I had my (1000 gal.)tank pumped, and a piece of PVC replaced. Also, I was told by the salesman he would email photos of the job, I received none. My neighbor had his tank pumped the next day,(different company) the cost was $500. Both tanks were 1000gals, and the same amount of build-up. The only thing different was they replace a 12"""" PVC cap. I knew I got rip-off by the salesman and Master Rooter. Plus, they cracked one of cement tops to the tanks(did not replace it) and cut my cable wire, which cost me $96.00 to replace by the cable company. When I sent emails to Master Rooter about the poor job they did, and asking to replace my cap and to refund me for cutting my cable wire, they never responded back. When I called Master Root they said someone would call back, nobody called back. Very disappoint with the integrity of the salesman, and Master Rooter Company.

This company offers quoated pricing for services over the phone and then when the technician shows up he has a different price. Called HQ to get a quote on a guy to enter the septic tank to clean further and was told there is no charge for that service, yet the technician demanded $400 for a confined space entry fee.... STAY AWAY from this company they can not be trusted

Pro's - they are fast; you call they come. Con's - They will dig a hole to your septic tank and they lie and jack up the prices The call to them was to service a septic tank due to selling the house. They dig down to the septic and then they say they will report as non-disclosure and report issues unless you pay them $1100. The previous day the amount was $150. They then stall on providing you a clear report and receipt. The owner or man in charge, Andrew, was perfect when you placed the service order, but then refused to get on the phone when his employee is out in the field extorting money. I was told that it would be cheaper to pay them now because they could ensure that they could interfere with the sale of my home by making reports - true or untrue. It's one thing to be a liar and thief, but you add coward into the recipe and it becomes a bad situation. The service tech was rude, unprofessional and the work truck leaks oil on the drive. Better to pay another company the $300 dollars for an honest job with a professional work force before thinking you can get anything done from these thugs for less than that. I did record all calls with the service tech Steve, and the owner Andrew and will be sending all recorded calls to our state attorney, better business bureau, their licensing board, and of course my attorney. Nothing worse than a scorned woman!
