Called on Monday the 28 for clogged drain service they couldn't accommodate me so I was told by an employee that someone would be out to me on Tuesday the 29 of July between the hours of 12-3pm I said ok, Tuesday 12-3 came and gone so I call them after 7 times someone answers and says idk why they gave you that time cause they didn't speak to anyone. she then tells me let her make some calls after a hr the original guys calls to say sorry for the miscommunication, I didn't misunderstand and proceeds to say he doesn't know the guy schedule for Wednesday but could call me back. The worse I have ever encountered. Would not do business with them. Crazy thing they was recommended from my trusted plumber.

We used Master Rooter in February 2025 for a sewer back-up. They came quickly and the job was done within an hour.
Unfortunately. the problem happened again in March so we called again. This time they sent a man named Cord. He redid the job and suggested we occasionally call and have a ""Blow Bag"" done, to eliminate the frequency of the problem. We were very satisfied with the work, the professionalism and knowledge of this employee and the company he represented.

Let me start by saying they gave us fantastic service here in Meriden! We've been having flooding issues in our basement on/off since 5/2022 from pipes that initially were due to tree roots growing in them like fingers. Used a ""nationwide"" company that seemed to help us but the problem(s) would continue to flare up every now & then after either doing short showers, dishes and/or laundry. I felt like they were ripping us off especially when they wanted to do a $20k job (after already spending over $13k over 3yrs) that would supposedly fix the problem forever. That's when I started looking elsewhere and found this company (fab reviews on Yelp & Google). Called, explained the past issues and that we just had another flooding incident after dishes & taking a short shower. Luckily, they sent Cord to the rescue! Showed Cord all the past paperwork, etc and this time we found out the water inside the pipe in the basement couldn't go anywhere due to this black sludge that had built up (like a thick black oil substance, gross). He used a Blow Bag (aka drain bladder) to do drain cleaning then we ran the hot water in both faucets and voila, the built up water quickly went on its merry way! YAY!! Haven't had a flood since & hopefully won't for awhile. Definitely recommend this company, will be using them in the future and Cord was awesome!!

Master Rooter did an amazing job when I had a clogged sink at my home in Middletown, CT. They were super responsive, showed up quickly, and had all the right tools to get the job done. The technician was professional and explained everything clearly. My sink is working perfectly now! Highly recommend their services for any drain or sewer issues

I had an emergency plumbing problem today (4/14/24), so I searched for a plumber online, and found Master Rooter. Levi was very responsive, contacted me quickly after I sent my information on their website, and he was very pleasant. Mike, he did the work, was excellent!! Very personable, knowledgeable, efficient, professional, and even did a really great job cleaning up. He had to deal with a major clog, the tub was clogged (hadn't even used it yet, just moving in), and it affected the toilet & sink. The sellers/their tenants (just closed on my house on 4/5/24, and we're in the process of moving in) apparently flushed rags down the toilet! There was a leak in November, when I was originally scheduled to close, that flooded portions of all 3 floors of the house, and that original problem was not properly repaired, otherwise everything that happened today would not have occurred! Mike showed me the rags he had worked hard to get out of the pipe, and several other things. I'll definitely use their services again, and highly recommend them!!

Contacted them to have my sewer line cleared of tree roots. There was an initial confusion as there were 2 calls in Bristol that same day for a customer named Kevin. I also was a bit confused by the caller ID on my phone identifying them as a different business when they called me back. However, Mike was very apologetic and took full responsibility for the mistake. He showed up for the second appointment on time and discounted the service to make up for the error. Mistakes happen and the sign of a good business is more often shown by how they handle it when things go wrong. I had had the same service provided by 2 other companies in prior years. (this is the nature of tree roots) and Mike was the best of them.

I had an emergency of no water on a Sunday with no idea what we had wrong due to overflows from a toilet that wasnt used. Mike came out within and hour and worked on what we now know was a faulty sewer line. He was amazing! He worked until late into the night and into the next two days due to a very big problem. He was calming and supportive the whole way through. He wasn't
inexpensive but he arranged for an excavator to come out to dig up the line. He is a perfectionist and takes your worries and anxiety on his shoulders to keep you calm and centered. I highly recommend them.

I reached out to Master Rooter for a leaky toilet. Levi got back to me right away with availability that and the next day which was extremely convenient. Mike just left having quickly identified the issue and performed a repair. He even stopped to run to the hardware store because he wasn't happy with the quality of some of the hardware and wanted to make sure there were no future issues. I am extremely happy with the service I received and look forward to reaching out to Levi and Mike for all my future plumbing needs.
