I'd love to give these guys ten stars, but five is the limit. Ken D. came out today, and I was glad to see him because he's been out before and we know they do great work. This time it was a dead kitchen faucet; he arrived just when expected (right in the middle of the four-hour window, with a courteous call from dispatch in advance), and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. He's polite, he's efficient, and he knows his stuff, which has been our experience with everybody from Master Plumbing. Thanks!

I called with a problem of slow drainage of a sink. They were able to come the same day and fixed the problem quickly and competently. Very good service. Would use them again for plumbing problems or water heater type troubles.

I've used Master Plumbing for 2 different jobs and both times I've had the same bad experience. When a plumber eventually does turn up, he does a good job, perhaps worthy of 5 stars. (Jorge was great.) I give Master Plumbing no stars tho w/ their scheduling system. My experience was very poor and frustrating. The scheduler gives you a 4-hr window in which the plumber is supposed to arrive. (I feel sorry for those with full-time, inflexible jobs who have to deal with this.) In my case, both times the plumber did not arrive in that window. In the first job (10am to 2pm arrival), they still hadn't arrived at 3:30 and so when I called a 3rd time to find out the technician's eta they cancelled and rebooked me 5 days later the following week(!) (My whole day was lost waiting for this plumber.) In the second case, my appointment was to start between 12noon - 4pm. At 4:30, I called to find out the eta and was told my technician was still 2-3 hours out(!) Then the scheduler tried to encourage me to rebook for another time. I'd been down this rodeo before so I knew I had to get a ""first appointment of the day"" in order to be sure a plumber would show. Naturally, they couldn't give me the next morning; I'd have to wait 3 days to get that ""first appointment"". Here's where their system adds insult to injury...Their ""over time"" starts at 4:30pm. The scheduler ""generously"" said she'd give me 1 regular hour (@$132/hr) before overtime would kick in if I wanted to keep my original afternoon appointment. But my appointment was to begin earlier in the day, as early as noon. What if the plumber actually showed up at noon? I could have had 4 1/2 hrs of his time at the bargain regular rate of $132/hr! Why would I (the customer) be impacted so negatively on labor charges b/c the plumber is running late? I think Master Plumbing needs to rethink it's scheduling and customer service policies to earn good reviews. If you can, I suggest trying another company.

Jorge came out to do maintenance on our Takagi. Great service as always, showed up right on time (how often does that happen these days?) and gave a great explanation of the state of the unit. Master Plumbing is the best.

I called Master Plumbing for 2 clogged toilets and 2 clogged showers. Ken arrived and fixed everything so quickly. Ken was very knowledgeable and very professional. He is an all around super nice and friendly guy. I'll be calling Master Plumbing for any of my future plumbing issues. They do great, honest work and I highly recommend them.

Last week I hoped my intermittently slow to flush toilet problem would go away....but it did not. Today I called and Jake from Master Plumbing came. Of course, when he looked at the problem the toilet flushed normally. However, he listened to my story and did snake the system. Lo and behold! Huge plant roots came back. Jake worked steadily and cleaned up after himself. The service was excellent.

At first, I was a bit unhappy. It was Saturday afternoon and a younger man came over and said he'd need to wait until Monday to get the part for our water heater repair. I never heard anything on Monday so I reached out to my property management and they got on it. Master Plumbing sent out Jorge. He was prompt, courteous and kind. He left to get a part and came right back, installed it and stayed to confirm that the job was done and done right. I say, to make sure you get great service and a very nice person, just ask for Jorge. If I need a plumber again, I'll be sure to request him by name.
