We have had Master Plumbing, Heating & Cooling do all our inspections, maintenance and repairs for several years now. This week I had my plumbing inspection done and since I have been wanting a new kitchen faucet, I asked the technician Bill McMurray if he could do the work while he was there. He not only replaced the faucet, but also put in an Aqua Flo Ultrafiltration Drinking water system, too. All the work Master Plumbing, Heat & Cooling has done for me has been done in a professional, efficient and timely manner.

Called Master Plumber because we had a clogged sewer. They said they charge a $69.50 service fee for coming out and then additional charges for the labor.
I estimate it took them 15 minutes to drive to my house.
The plumber brought in his auger and used it to clear the pipes. We have to do this about every 3 years.
The whole process took 1/2 hour.

The bill was a shocking $375.00
I will never use this company again and will warn friends and family.

We had 50 gallon water heater tanks that needed replaced. I am at a repeat customer and was pleasantly surprised when Amanda answered the phone and asked how she could put a smile on my face. I love that she set up an appointment for a technician to come by the next morning, Mat Kaas. Mat was incredible and very knowledgeable as we explored options. And he knew what he was doing and how to make it perfect. Mat is an incredible employee with customer service skills and technical skills. We love Master Plumbing and highly recommend them.

I had an issue with my furnace not warming it was working but not kicking out any heat. Mitch came to help and found my problem was an iced up intake outside!! Great job!!

Had been a customer for many years. Had good luck with them during $20,000+ major bathroom remodel several years ago and had good luck with replacement of outdoor faucets (although charge was high) a few years ago.

Called to schedule routine service call/flushing of tankless water heater. They were unable to give me a quote/price for that routine service or even a price range. Tried hard to upsell their ""Green Club"" service ($125/year). Was told without that membership, coming to house for routine flush of tankless water heater would be $68.50 service call and then some unknown charge for the actual work. But they won't tell you how much that routine service will cost. Not a quote or even a range of what it might cost.

Not willing to play those games or take the risk that, once technician is here, price for routine flushing will be $500, $1000 or some other high amount on top of $68 fee to just show up.
Bad way to do business.

Also influenced by multiple other negative reviews, will now find a new company for my routine plumbing needs.

Extremely dishonest company. They will not fix anything on first visit and then charge $75 for looking at it. Must then schedule another tech to come do the work at about 4 or 5 times what other companies charge. DO NOT USE!! If I could give negative stars I would.

The situation: clogged main drain line for kitchen. The solution, snake drain from clean out about 30 feet, scrape walls of pipe to prevent future build up.
Yes, it is true you need to pay for the service call up front others are saying. Ok. I left my partner in charge and specified that if it was over a certain amount, I would do on my own (as I did last year renting a snake at A-1 for $65) or see what these guys would charge. Roto-rooter was 2 days backed up and a few others.

Pros: Arrived on time that day! Gave accurate info but tried to upsell my garbage disposal that was less than a year old. Got the drain line unclogged.

Cons: They charged over $700 to snake a sewer drain line. Total time they were here, 2 hours. I called and I asked a receptionist as to why a plumber is charging over $350 an hour during normal working hours? She said the manager would call me back. Never did. To top it all off, in their bill they do not guarantee their work, so if it clogged again later, or if they didn't snake it correctly, they would not come fix it.

I will not do business with this con-artist again!

I called for a quote to replace a kitchen sink faucet and garbage disposal. I provided the new parts. They would not provide an estimate over the phone which should have been my first clue. The technician arrived on time and immediately gave me an estimate of $645 without even looking under the sink! They could have given me this estimate over the phone. I foolishly accepted it because I was in shock and it would have cost me their $68 service fee regardless of whether I had the work done or not.

The work took about 45 minutes and required no other parts as far as I can tell other than a few 50 cent PVC washers. To be fair, the technician did a good job and the work was of high quality. The cost was outrageous though. I was charged the equivalent of over $600 per hour!

Do not use this company. Find a plumber that will give you an estimate over the phone or at least give you an hourly rate.

Called. Needed drain unclogged. Charged $80 just to come look. Then told me it wasn't clogged even though he saw it was. Put a level on pipes?
Then ask $360 To $500 to roto rooter the drain . Completely unprofessional. Called credit card for unrendered services refund. STAY AWAY

Well called for service call on Saturday evening was told )168. No problem then found out to clean the drain was $740. I don't think so call magic men. Monday My father was a plumber no way it cost that much.
