I had a slab leak in the icemaker line that fed both the refrigerator and kitchen sink. John came by to identify the leak location as well as cap the leaking lines so that I would still have water to the rest of the house. He was knowledgeable and I could tell he enjoyed figuring out how to reroute the piping to bypass the original pipe in the cement. He and another gentleman (Ricardo?) were both professional and courteous. The only knock I really had was the drywall cutouts that they had to make. It could probably be more square to help with the repair but I realize that is not their area of expertise.

They were referred by my insurance provider if that matters but I was very happy with their work.

Issue: Downstairs ceiling showed patches of what seemed like water damage coming from the second floor bathroom ! Eek! Contacted our insurance and they had John from Master Plumbing and Leak Detection come to inspect the damage.

John was very professional, knowledgeable, and timely. He inspected the damage and found the source of the problem and told us his recommendations. He was straightforward and really took care of the issue at hand. The leak was due to the shower and an error completed by a previous plumber thus causing water to seep through the wall. We managed to get the replacement parts fixed and the leak stopped.

We appreciated his honesty and input. He also checked to see if our water pressure reading was within the correct range. Come to find..it was out of wack ! The water pressure was above it's limit, which could have also attributed to the water leakage. He gave us a free estimate to replace our water pressure regulator. We decided to get price quotes from other plumbing services, but they charged us twice as much so we went with John and his company instead. John didn't try to scam or upsell us like others.

We scheduled our appointment for the replacement and he was prompt, quick, and thorough. I can't speak for the other plumbers, but John saved the day!

Also appreciated the safety measures taken by wearing a mask and keeping a healthy distance throughout his visit.

Due to a slab leak in our house in San Diego we had the whole plumbing system re-piped for both the hot and cold lines, not an easy job. The job was started and completed on time and quite professionally done. Plus, this company operates like a well-oiled machine, from Brandon who gave us the estimate to Ellie who schedules the work to Rhonda who handles invoicing. These guys (and gals) are pros at what they do, highly recommend them.

Two weeks ago, one of their techs came by and looked at a bathroom sink and faucet that I wanted replaced/repaired. He said he would get back to me with an estimate in a day or two. A week later, having heard nothing, I called and asked if I could get the estimate, and I was told I would get the estimate in a few minutes by email. Nothing arrived. The next day I called again, and was told I would get the estimate by email in a few hours. Today I called yet again, the the person at Master Plumbing told me they didn't have the estimate and they professed to have no knowledge that I had called before, and also said perhaps I should try another plumber. After two weeks! I think finding a different plumber right off the bat would be an excellent idea for anyone who tries to get a job done by Master Plumbing, since otherwise you may be waiting in vain to get them to do anything, or to even acknowledge that they promised, and failed to hold up their end. A very unprofessional operation.

I have a device that detected a leak somewhere in my home. I was worried because Im getting ready to sell the house. I called Mike and he walked me through things over the phone. I went off and did what he told me and called him back. TI've never used him before and he was so helpful - it didn't cost me anything and the problem was resolved within 30 minutes. BE AWARE !!!! this company is the WORST!!! I was told that they would send a representative to inspect the problem at no charge and after diagnosing the issue I would be told what is the work to be performed and the cost. The worker TONY came by I explain that I had a leak in the bathroom sink he looked at it and said it was just hair and nothing needed to be done he pulled a few hairs and said thats it after I explained that my wash machine was not draining correctly he opened a valve and said that was hair he got a paper towel and clean it and said thats it. I asked how much was the charge ( he was here in total less than 30 minutes ) he said $250 I said for that? to wide a valve ? he said ok I will give you a big discount and charged me $150/ mind you no inspection nor estimate just doing whatever and charging. The next day I went to use the machine and now is not working at all!!! I called the office and asked for the worker to return a very rude receptionist told me that he could only come back the following week I said if I have no choice that would be fine. Today the day of the appointment the receptionist called to inform me that if he comes today it will be a new charge !!! I am out $150 and with a worst problem than before !!! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!! BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!
