Five years ago, I gave Master Blaster a 5-star review and have recommended them to friends. Not after today. Their technician was great, but the owner is simply awful. I called them to fix the height of the sewer clean-outs that they installed well below the grade of my patio five years ago. Understanding that I should have exercised the five-year warranty earlier, I asked the owner, Ross, for it to be corrected at cost. I reminded him that I spent about $12,000 with his company five years ago and have continued to recommend them. Ross insisted that the work was done correctly to begin with. I told him I have pictures from five years ago, but thought we could come to agreement without spending lots of time negotiating a few hundred dollars. I didn't want to dicker about the price, just be treated fairly. He became rude, condescending and unprofessional. When I told him I didn't like the way he was speaking to me, he told me that he was going to recall the technician, the work would not be done, and I should never call them again. I can certainly agree to his last demand. If you choose this company, be prepared to carefully inspect their work before you pay them because Ross does not back up his work.

I had a bad experience, but the owner, Ross, promptly reached out to me and comped my bill. When I used master blaster before they were great. My one issue was resolved very quickly. I am confident I can use master blaster again for any plumbing services I need.

Rating is based on customer service, not any actual work done. Called and they scheduled a clean and scope for early afternoon (1-3pm window). At 1:20 called and said would have to push to tomorrow from 4-6pm! This significant of a push is unacceptable. I would have been fine with same day later in the evening or even early the next day, but to push more than 24 hours after already being within THEIR stated window of arrival is poor management. Had no trouble finding another company to accommodate. There are plenty of businesses out there, no need to tolerate poor scheduling / management.

My hot water heater was a few years past life expectancy and leaking badly. These guys have great reviews on Angies List and Google, and their price for a hot water replacement was very competitive. The initial consult for the hot water heater replacement with one guy was a bit bumpy but the company quickly made good on it, very proactive, quick scheduling, sent one of their best guys to do the work, no problems whatsoever, did the work as quoted, made me a happy camper (with a working shower!). I'm not sure why they are lower rated here on Yelp, other than its just a small handful of reviews, and maybe a bit of bad luck or miscommunication. 14 reviews here compared to a hundred or more on the other sites... trust the larger numbers! I'll use them again for future projects!

Decided to get a quote for a vanity, toilet, and shower replacement from this company. Unfortunately they want to charge you an arm and a leg for even the smallest jobs (there are closets bigger than my bathroom) and the quoted price doesn't even cover hardware just labor. Decided to take a look on Home Advisor and found that I should only pay half as much from the quoted price hardware included. When I asked the technician (Junior) why the quote was astronomically high he claimed it was a ""custom"" job and therefore would cost more. Ironically before I could deny the quote via e-mail the company had already denied it from their website.. what kind of plumbing company gives an insanely high quote just to deny it themselves? Careful with this company, they are very shifty in their marketing.

Will not return after hours emergency calls. Not a company to be relied on if you are working for an apartment complex or anywhere you need a reliable plumbing company.
It's now the following day and they still will not answer or respond to messages.

Master Blaster Trevor was called to come to my home to fix a garbage disposal that wasn't working or draining. He was so professional! He did a whole assessment of our houses plumbing. He was polite and definitely knew his stuff!! He figured out that the way our disposal was installed was incorrect, and was in fact leaking and causing water damage as well. He fixed everything and double checked to make sure everything was working properly. He also explained and showed us where the problems were! He cleaned up when he was done and didn't leave my kitchen a mess-very important to the ladies :) !!! I have had a lot of bad contractors/plumbers that have done incomplete work and to have him was just amazing! I would use this company again, and more so I would request for Trevor to come back out if needed! Thank you for your excellent service!!

Excellent service! I had a slow drain in my house and they were able to get that fixed no problem but they also noticed some other issues I was unaware of with some pipes and I had a hole in my disposer. Awesome attention to detail and very fast friendly service. Very informative and also let me know other future issues to keep an eye out for. Bottom line, if you need reliable plumbing work then call Master Blaster Plumbing!

Master Blaster P&D is a great example of how customer service and complete work should be. I was selling my house and had a potentially large problem, according to the home inspector. I called Ross and the crew and they sent out someone to scope the sewer. They sent 3 quotes, all of which fixed the problem. However, they were up front when they told me that option 1 (the least expensive) was good enough, and that the next 2 options would potentially be going overboard. I called several other companies and they quoted me outrageous prices compared to MB P&D. Any time I have an issue that is plumbing related, I call these guys. They must have me on their watch list, because I often call them for things that aren't plumbing related too! They must roll their eyes at me :)

This guy called me on Saturday night because my check from 7 months ago wasn't deposited correctly. He claimed my account was closed, which it was not. He then sent me an email threatening to send me to a collections agency in 7 business days. When I researched the issue and found that it was his banks fault, he won't return my emails or calls. I would sooner light $10 on fire than pay his return check fee. He waited 7 months to get in touch with me then threatens to send me to collections!!!!!!!!!!!! He snaked the drain, as I remember didn't want to honor a $20 coupon or some offer I got from Angie's list (I can't remember for sure as it was 7 MONTHS AGO!!) Now he's trying to send me to collections and won't return my calls or emails... sounds like there are probably a hundred or so other plumbers in Denver that might treat you like a normal customer. Don't bother with this joker!
