At 13, I started working in construction, helping a family friend with a home addition, which opened doors to many opportunities. This experience led me to help a neighbor frame and construct his hangar, followed by various projects like barns, sheds, remodeling, and preparing rental properties and decks. I then pursued a career as an Electrical Apprentice for 2.5 years, followed by a 2-year stint as a Data Technician. After that, I shifted to home installations, working as an independent contractor for 3 years, installing electronics, appliances, switches, lights, dishes, TVs, smart home systems, surround sound, and various other electrical services. Currently, I serve as an on-call maintenance technician at a nursing home and a rental company, addressing issues ranging from drywall and plumbing to electrical work, appliance repair, adding switches and outlets, and general maintenance.
