I recommend M.A.S. Plumbing and Heating, the customer service needs improvement but their cost is straight up and their diagnostic was on point. I used them for my gas heater when my thermostat went out.

Plumbing is really important. But it probably doesn't take a rocket scientist to be a plumber. And MAS definitely doesn't give you rocket scientists. Or really even competent human beings. My husband was in the hospital, and I needed to get my downstairs toilet fixed because when he got home we wasn't going to be able to go upstairs. I called and scheduled an appointment. I left the hospital for this plumber. I waited 2 hours. He didn't show up. I called. No one answered. 2 hours later they called back.

They were rude and said no one was on the schedule. They treated me like I was a retarded monkey on acid for thinking I had an appointment. Then they asked where I lived. I gave my address and the guy said ""Oh yeah. I think you *did* call. I must have forgot to write it down."" Really?

Then he showed up. He said the toilet needed 2 bolts (the 75 cent kind you get at home depot). And he spent less than 20 minutes on the repair. And charged $175 for parts and labor. I was exhausted from spending three straight days at the hospital. Really exhausted. And I didn't argue. I should have. I will never call MAS again.
