Called in a request to check possible peak for AC unit I bought 2.5 years ago. ($6K purchase) They booked me for an appointment 7am-9am the next day, didn't tell me there would be any charge.

They rang the doorbell during a zoom meeting 3-4 times at 2:30pm the day before, because they finished up early. Were already on my roof, then checked the unit, no leak, and charged me $75 because the warranty was only for 2 years.

I called Crystal and told her I was unhappy with the service, and they still charged me the $75.

Never dealing with Marz again.

service through home warranty was scheduled promptly and techs arrived on time as scheduled and were very friendly. however, we were told there wasn't a specific problem found but that they would put in to get approval on a possible cause. after a few days of no communication our warranty company said they were told there were no problems and case closed. We never got a call back.

Our A/C went out so we let our home warranty know. We paid 70 dollars for an estimate from Marz. The repair technician said it would take 3 weeks to get one of the three parts he said it needed. Three weeks came and went and so did another 3 weeks Marz offered no solution. Finally the home warranty told us to call another company. We got another company to come out within 24 hrs it was fixed and we're told we did not even need the part Marz claimed to be waiting on. Temperatures had gotten as high as 115 while we waited for a part we learned that we didn't even need. My son and 86 yr old mother in law both had heat strokes. We accumulated big medical bills as a result. We called Marz over and over and we're treated very rudely by a female employee that answered the phone. She even threatened me. Marz gave us the poorest customer service we have ever experienced. They totally lacked common courtesy and professionalism. Our A/C works beautifully now but our thanks goes to a company called We Fix it Home Services in San Tan Valley.

I cant even express the disappointment I experienced with this company. GET EVERYTHIHNG IN WRITING. They will overpromise and under deliver. I got this company from a childhood friend. Never again. Owner Jacob Martinez spoke to me as a 3rd grade child because I could not tell him details about my water heater (not my field of work). Jacob got disrespectful and canceled my next day order because I defended myself against his unprofessional banter. I would NEVER tell a woman to use these services without a second opinion or having a male presence there because he will get DISRESPECTFUL. After an agreed amount of $1100 I was told it was now $1500 the next morning, and since the contract was to be sent in the morning I got a cancel call and text. Leaving my family stranded without hot water. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE from the OWNER himself. I will definitely inform my colleagues and friends to use elsewhere.

I never write reviews but my experience with Marz has been absolutely awful. My mobile AC unit broke, and although they came out quickly to evaluate it, it took weeks to get it replaced (with zero communication). I called them multiple times with no response. I had to email for them to acknowledge me. They told me it would take a couple of weeks for the unit to get in. Which is fine, but what is not acceptable is failing to let me know. I shouldn't have to call to get an update. Then I got an email stating my appointment time (no options for days or times). After installation, I thought everything was great until my unit started LEAKING, all over the walls, baseboards, and tile. I have called four times and emailed them with no response. Their communication is TERRIBLE. Customer service is TERRIBLE. They don't even have the decency to return a call. And although the install itself was quick, they installed a leaking unit rather than a new one I was promised. Now I'm waiting on a call back to reschedule, which I doubt I will receive.

Marz has made 2 visits so far to our rental home: one to replace the hot water heater and then another to fix the fixtures in a shower as well as the handles on the washer outlet. I have found the workers to be courteous, on time (or early), and totally competent with their tasks. I can whole-heartedly recommend.

I hired this company to repair a leaky pipe that was in the wall of my guest bathroom. The technician arrived on time, calling when he was 30 minutes away. I got a quote prior to them arriving which I found reasonable. Once the work was done, I paid the price that was quite - no surprise charges! The technician was very friendly and did great work! I will definitely hire them again in the future.

This review is only for Response time, Customer Service and Pricing.

A LITTLE BACKGROUND: Originally, when my a/c went out in Saturday morning, the tech from another company found a blown fuse.

Well, a few hours later, it went out again. But, this other company wanted to charge me another Emergency service call, plus extra $ for diagnostics.

Needless to say, I said no.

In Monday, my regular a/c guy came by 3 times because of problems. He finally suggested to replace my 14 y.o. system. :-(

Well, my guy wouldn't be able to get a new system installed for 3-4 weeks. :-o

In addition to the referral that they gave me, and the Yelp referrals, I had 5 contractors to get pricing from.

Well, the company who was referred to me (never got a price) wouldn't gave been able to come out until this morning, and the system wouldn't be installed until Friday, or Monday.

So, of the 4 Yelp referrals, 3 contacted me within 1 hour. The 4th, has a 1 day response time (in Emergency situations, the hat company should not be part of the referral system).

NOW, starts the review for Marz Mechanical.

Well, Chrystal was the 1st of the 3 Yelp referrals to contact me. And originally, she gave me a ""tomorrow"" time to come out, and give me an estimate.

A little later in the morning, I was informed that they could be there ""today"" 8-) .

Well, Jacob showed up, took measurements, and looked around at the system.

He told me, that he could give me a system (price came up after he left, as he had to check with the office, and it was $6,100.00), and bring a portable a/c in the morning. With install being within 3 days.

Now, of the 3 companies that gave me pricing, Marz Mechanical came in the lowest.

Between the fast response, PMs (fast replies) and Jacob being professional, yet friendly, I would have gone with them.

However, since my inside temperature was already over 100 (got to 107!), and I found another company (from Yelp) who was able to do a same day install, I couldn't wait for the portable a/c to be delivered. And, what a Hotel would have cost, the savings difference wasn't worth it.

A darn shame. Had they had a portable a/c that they could have delivered the same day, I would have gone with 'em for sure.

Maybe in 10-15 years when this unit goes kaput, we'll be able to do business (may be keep a portable a/c on the truck for such situations?).

I spoke with Chrystal through Yelp, and got a response within minutes with each message. She was nice and professional. She quoted me $85 flat to repair my sink, and gave me 3 choices for appointment times. I informed her that I work a lot and took a sick day today, is anyone available. She got right back to me with a time for today, which I happily accepted. Erik was at my house about 1/2 hour later. I'm home with a migraine, and Erik was super understanding. I told him to yell out if he needed me and went to lay down. He was so great! He very quickly fixed my sink and really went above and beyond, being that the repair was a little more than originally thought to be. I was charged what Chrystal quoted me, there was zero attempt to charge me more or sell me on any other products. Erik did inform me that they also do A/C tuneups but didn't shove it down my throat.
I found this company to be honest, and capable. I will never use another company, and will always request Erik.
