I co-owned a restaurant in Alamosa. The owner of this company, Marty Hussman poached our parking lot. Our contract stated that we had exclusive rights to sell food on that property. He had his people selling pulled pork sandwiches and quesadillas by the dumpster in our parking lot. Turns out they had been there all weekend but were in a more hidden spot for the first few days. Then they got greedy and moved by the dumpster.
Do you really want to do business with someone who would do that to another person's business?

I would give them 0 stars, but there is no option for that. We had an appointment set up for them to come fix a furnace, an appointment we had waited months for due to parts being ordered. They assured us they had the parts, set up the appointment, no show. We called several times throughout the day, they told us we were next for our repair, but they never showed, nor did they call. We tried to call them, were told they would check on our appointment time and they would call back. No call. We tried again the next day, were told they would be out to do the repair, they never came nor called. Terrible customer service, I would not recommend anyone call or try to use this business.

Marty's Maintenance did some gas plumbing work for us in Twin Lakes, CO. While they did finish the job, they did not pull a permit to do the work until the work was done, and they failed 3 inspections by the Lake County inspector before the work finally passed. They did allow us to pay the $10000 bill off in monthly payments, but when we missed one payment because of an authorization misunderstanding, they posted online reviews of our business saying that we refused to pay our bill and that we cheat local businesses. We have since paid off everything we owe to Marty's Maintenance and we will not be doing business with them again. If you decide to hire them, I would insist on a permit before they start the project. Also get multiple quotes, because what they charged us seemed to be much higher than the going rate.
