Came out promptly on a Saturday at no additional charge. I called probably half a dozen plumbers and they had the most reasonable quote. Matt was extremely upbeat and positive, especially unusual given that is was a cold, dark, Saturday night and he was working outside. Will absolutely use them again. The coupon on yelp is extremely generous!

I called Marti's because I had a leak around the sink faucet. They came the same day. The plumber who came took a quick look, thought for a second, and immediately diagnosed the problem. She was able to fix it in about a minute. I was kicking myself for not having realized what the problem was, but I was happy to have the problem fixed ready to get my checkbook to pay for the home visit. She informed that there would be no charge for the visit. I was extremely pleased with the service and would definitely use them again.

Not impressed. $330 to tighten a faucet and turn up the hot water heater. This also included time to troubleshoot a shower that was stuck on hot. But the shower analysis was inconclusive; it ended with a promise for a quote. It has been a week, and we still haven't received the quote to fix the shower. At $165/hour, I'd expect more efficiency and professionalism.

This was the worst experience with a plumber in 45 years of home ownership and I would recommend others to choose anyone else. I wanted to patronize a local firm. Too late, I learned from the plumber that they had closed the Cupertino location on Imperial Avenue, but keep it on their website to get Yelp referrals. The plumber spent almost four hours at our home - much, if not most, of which was to repair a thick marble tile (twice) that he accidentally broke. We were, however, charged for eight hours - the plumber took a three-hour break to ostensibly pick up a generic tub spout. The plumber tried cutting a replacement tile with hand held grinder while in the bathroom which covered every object and surface with a thick layer of grit. The tile broke in half but he placed it without adhesive and grouted around the perimeter. This, of course, needed to be redone and later he replaced it again with a new tile - leaving a boot print of grout in the tub. We spent days cleaning up the mess. We were never able to get an itemized bill and they would not even provide a cost per hour ($200/hour?). To say that we were grossly overcharged is not an exaggeration. Again, I would recommend others to choose anyone else.
