Just called for a kitchen sink back up and he quoted me 160.00 ...lol when I had other quotes for low as 75.00 dollars.

I have used Martin at least three times, and it could have been more. I have asked him to replace my water heater, fix my shower valve and redo a leak in the wall behind the shower, and replace a hose spigot, and replace a irrigation valve. Every time I have used him, he comes as quickly as he can, and gets the job done quickly and professionally.

I almost like hiring him just to talk to him. He is hilarious! Probably just a personal connection with him and we have a similar sense of humor. I always try to watch and stay close as he does repairs so that I can learn. He is a good teacher as well. He has always been professional and I trust him 100% to do the job well, in a timely manner, and with a smile... and great stories!

Anytime I have plumbing issues, I will always call Martin first. When he is at my home, he graciously looks at other things I ask him about and gives his honest advice and expertise about the issue. Thank you Martin for taking care of my home, and for being a great person to work with. I am glad there are still honest, down-to-earth professionals that people can count on in times of need.

Martin called me before I could call him. I had looked on Home Advisor for a recommendation and checked his entry. He was able to come that day at the exact time I was needing him. He and his helper, Jesus were able to diagnose the problem with my bathroom sink. They had a beautiful set of faucets in the truck and were able to complete the job promptly. The price was reasonable, the clean up was good and they had time to check out the drain closure on another sink. We arranged for them to return when they were in Santa Barbara. I have no problem with hiring them again.

I called Martin in the morning regarding a water heater leak. He walked me through a few diagnostics on the phone and determined it was probably a minor fix and a new water heater would not be needed. He said he could come by in the afternoon and call before coming. He called in the afternoon and showed up about 30 minutes later as indicated. He found the minor problem, fixed it and tuned up a few other plumbing items at my house while he as there. Prompt, efficient and kinds. I will use Martin's Plumbing again.

My main bathroom sink has been plugged up for 6 mos. and with 2 teen age boys in the house it has been very challenging. But I have been afraid to call a plumber cuz I have been burnt b-4, using yellow pages plumbers. This time I started with yelp and am glad I did. Martin was kind and courteous over the phone which he answered immediately. He was in the area so he came over right away. He assessed the situation and very clearly explained my options and gave me his opinion. He showed me where my BIG problem was and set about fixing it. Two hours later job completed and he was empathetic to my situation(cash strapped) and ended up charging me a very very reasonable fee with a top notch professional job completed. Problem solved. I couldn't have asked for a better plumber to come fix my problem. Martin and Martin Jr. came by today and saved the day! We were installing a new sink, and found out that our entire pipe system was clogged with sludge. We had to go through 2 other plumbers until the Martins came and saved us. They brought the hydro jet and fixed us right up!!

They're fast! They came right away and fixed it all within an hour! Helped clean up the mess too. Very friendly and cracking jokes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thanks again Martin and Martin Jr!!!

This firm rebuilt a lateral sewer line, tub drain line and several vanity drain lines. The ABS drain lines works appears to be working fine. It's what wasn't done and hidden behind the walls, appliances and inspection ports for which this firm FAILS. House was recently inspected for house sale. City permit records and house repair contracts (from the previous owner) indicate that this firm was the culprit in failed job completion. This firm never bothered to fill the hole and cap with new concrete the opening under the tub where they installed new ABS drain pipe. They never bothered to reconnect the dishwasher, but shoved it back into into space under the countertop to HIDE the insulation and drywall they never replaced after replumbing the kitchen drain. In my professional opinion this firm WILL cut corners, especially when you cannot see them. The previous owner who contracted with this firm, was an elderly, invalid, who was not capable of, nor had the whereathal to inspect this firms work (or should I say lack thereof). Shame on Martin's Plumbing and Rooter.
