Kudos to Scott, Theron, Aldo, Uriel, and the whole team on a wonderful experience with the purchase and installation of Mitsubishi mini-splits in our home. We got quotes from several other vendor/installers, but theirs was by far the most competitive. The installation went very smoothly and was completed in only about 1/2 day (two inside units plus the compressor unit on the roof). They also took out the existing (ughhh!) swamp cooler for a minimal extra cost and provided an excellent reference for someone to patch the ceiling where the swamp-cooler vent had been (also an incredible job by Jose Gonzalez).

The mini-splits are amazing and we are loving the comfort they now provide with imperceptible noise and really quick cool down for our new normal summer heat domes!

In July 2020 we used Insight Mechanical to install a Daikin minisplit system in our home. They didn't provide the highest or lowest of the four quotes, but Scott seemed the most professional and knowledgeable, and we appreciated that licensed electricians were employees as well as the rest of the installation team, so it wasn't necessary to find someone else for the electrical work. We are very happy with the result, and have referred Insight Mechanical to four friends, all who were very satisfied with the fair price and performance.

Recently they replaced a blower motor on a Carrier minisplit in our studio that was installed by another firm; it was 16 feet high and not an easy job. So even if you need maintenance on your system that was installed by another company, Insight Mechanical can help.

Nothing in the world is perfect (except perfect octaves, 4ths and 5ths), and it's telling how a company behaves when something goes wrong. We received an invoice for the aforementioned Carrier blower motor replacement charged for the in-warranty part as well as the labor. I spoke with Scott and in a couple of minutes he emailed the corrected invoice with no charge for the part. Easy-peasy.

In Santa Fe it's a good feeling when you find reputable, honest, qualified folks to take care of your stuff.

I called Insight on an emergency basis when my boiler wasn't working. I was out of town and they were still able to respond that day (happened to be a snowy Friday) and solve my problem quickly. Luis has started up and closed down our swamp coolers for several seasons. He repaired our swamp cooler in an emergency situation earlier this summer and returned to evaluate it when it was time to close down the coolers, determining that we did not need a new unit only a greasing of the bearings. He also had the patience to get the gas heater in our studio going, realizing what was needed. This young man is a great addition to the Insight team.
Another great addition this year is the personable Michael who does scheduling and answers calls with efficiency and a goodly measure of charm.

Started process to get direct vent heaters installed with emails and phone calls in early July and was told that an estimate would be done and the work would be scheduled. It is now October and after several more phone calls over the months, I am being told that they do not have the time to do the work. To add insult to injury, I was told that the owner told me he couldn't do the work previously which is entirely untrue. I would have looked elsewhere months ago if they had been honest with me and now everyone is booked up so no heat in our bedrooms. Unreliable, take your business elsewhere!

The system works very well and we've been able to easily regulate the temperature in our home. We have had only one problem in the two and a half years we've had them.
