Amazing company moved to Cheyenne from fort Myers Florida and found we needed a repipe in our place they set us up for Monday a few days later and repiped amazing. Amazing coming for our no heat this morning. All the company is amazing.

I have to let people know what fabulous service I have always received from Martinez Plumbing & Heating, including yesterday.
My furnace & gas fireplace would not turn on & it's been 43 degrees in my house for several days. I figured the pilot light was out on my furnace & I'm petrified of gas.
I called LLoyd Martinez and explained my situation. I had a friend try to light the furnace, aware that we're supposed to be getting snow Thursday or Friday. He was unsuccessful because the motor was ""froze-up"". I told Martinez Plumbing what my friend had found, and even though they're booked three weeks out, they came within an hour & fixed my furnace & fireplace so I now have dependable heat in my home!
I can not speak highly enough of Lloyd Martinez & his son, Andrew, and their employees, including the caring ladies that are in their office!
From past experiences, some emergencies (broken pipes in middle of the night) and some non-emergencies, I know I can count on Martinez Heating & Plumbing, plus they are very affordable & totally trustworthy to be in my home.

My water heater randomly stopped working, so I called up Martinez plumbing for a quote on a new water heater. The quote seemed very reasonable. I was asked a couple of additional questions and came to find out that I may not have needed it replaced! Long story short, black hills accidentally shut off gas to my street, which caused the water heater to shut off, and I only need my pilot light relit! What a nice surprise...and awesome to have nice, honest people NOT take advantage of me by selling me a new water heater when it wasn't needed!!! A+ for honest service and they were super kind to wiggle me in same day!!!! Thank you!!!

Called for a estimate on some gas piping.
Asked if they had free estimates and was told they do.
Set up a appointment and gave them my address.
Was called the day of the estimate and was told by them that I lived forty miles out of town, well I do leave out of town 13 miles from downtown!
Was told since I live so far away that the would have to charge me a service call to give me a estimate!
And if I decide to use them then they would deduct the amount from my bill.
Well I guess if that is the way you want to do business go for it!
But there are a lot of people that live outside the city limits!
So please change your advertising to state you only do in town free estimates so you don't waste a potential customers time!
If you live outside the city limits I would never call them!
Guess they get plenty of work in side the city limits!
And don't want any work a few miles out of town!
No I would not recommend them!

Set up appt. for 9 -10. At 11, Cindy called and said they were running late. I sat and waited til 4:00. They wouldn't answer phone. Never showed - never called. At all! I had a bad experience with this company years ago, but they had the first appt. available so I gave them a second chance. Burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me! So I guess this is shame on me and lesson learned. Avoid these guys. Unprofessional, unethical, and just plain rude!

Andrew was amazing. He spent half an hour diagnosing my plumbing issue. Because the fix required grouting (not a plumbing issue), he didn't even charge me for the house call. If you need excellent service, please give Martinez Plumbing a try.

Appreciate their honesty - they told me my furnace is fine after being told i needed a new furnace by advanced home comfort solutions and would probably need a new one soon by a contractor. However, while replacing my flame sensor I asked if Lloyd could take a peek at my dishwasher which had been filling with water, because of it was broken I wanted to buy one before Black Friday ended. He helped me take the filter off and clean it, and when I got my bill he charged $45 for it. I want to pay him for his time and his willingness to take a minute to look at something he wasn't there for, but it took 10, 15 minutes tops and he charged me half of the service fee ($90- which I think is high anyway) so that just really rubbed me the wrong way.

My furnace wouldn't fire on the Friday of Xmas week-end. I called Marv's Plumbing for a service call, they showed up promptly, and spent 2.5 hrs screwing up the wiring and frying 2 transformers. I was told the furnace was too old to be repaired and that I would have to get a new one...(they could finance). Then they left us in the cold. After running to Walmart to buy 2 space heaters to try and stay warm over the very cold Xmas holiday, I called Martinez Plumbing.
Eloy showed up first, and began the repairs but had other calls to go on. Then Lloyd came by to finish the work. By 5:30 my furnace was running fine. He had to re-wire everything Marv's loused up, and our furnace has been running fine since then.
This review is not only a big Kudos to Lloyd and Martinez, but a big shout to avoid Marv's at all costs. Marv's charged me over $250 to shaft me, and Martinez was only slightly more to actually fix what Marv's did. I expect to wind up in court now because Marv's wants to be paid. Unless the court makes me, I will not pay them

Soon after moving to Cheyenne, I had a water pipe freeze......on Super Bowl Sunday!! Knowing no one here in the business, I grabbed the Yellow Pages and headed alphabetically through the Plumbers section. I called four in town for help with no results. The fifth I called was Martinez Plumbing. There was someone at my house within an hour (and, yes, while the game was in progress).
Martinez was little more than a start-up business then and they've grown considerably since, but the service and professionalism remains as it was almost 20 years ago and they are still the only plumber in Cheyenne I will call when I need help.
