We had a bad smell coming from our drains so we turned to Yelp to find a new plumber. Because our current plumber was not responding. After looking at their great reviews we decided to call Martinez Plumbing to come and see what the problem was. The lady on the phone was really polite and helped fit an appointment that fit my schedule. Same day mind you!!! Turned out we had some leaks in our kitchen line. Victor came out crawled under our house gave me a reasonable estimate and a great warranty on their work. We decided to go with them and couldn't be happier. The next morning he was here with another plumber as promised and finished that same day! We are extremely happy and grateful for their help and will be calling them back if we ever need services again! Highly recommend these guys.

My water heater started leaking and called a few places. These guys are great! They were very reasonable and recommended parts I can either purchase myself or they can supply for me. I spoke with a young lady on Aug 31 who answered the phone for Martinez Plumbing I explained my problem she stated that some would call me on Sept 1 between the hours of 9am & 10a, at 11:26am still no call...I called and reached a voicemail and left my message as of 4:15,pm still NO reply...would I recommended absolutely not...lack of communicating with customer and no follow through...went with another company and couldn't be happier what I didn't receive from Martinez Plumbing I received reliable and professional service from the company I went with.

These guys are amazing. I'm embarrassed to say this, but writing this review is making me emotional, I've got some dry tears as I write this, haha! Victor went way above and beyond the call of duty to do what I think was an outstanding job on what was otherwise a huge sewer repair problem for me. As a company Martinez Plumbing is incredible and I can say the same for the owner Victor. Great guy, great company. I found out they don't have many reviews for their company here in Fresno, because they used to do all their work in the Bay Area (I believe it was Bay Area). So they have to have a fresh start on Yelp, but don't let that fool you, Martinez Plumbing is highly experience in this trade, as you will see in the rest of my review.

Before calling Martinez Plumbing, I had at least two other plumbing companies come out to attempt to fix the sewer at my rental. I was having an ongoing problem for months, renters would call me in the middle of the night telling me their bathtub was full of poop water, disgusting. These other plumbers could not clear the line or they just put a bandaid on the situation. The other plumbers told me certain things were not even physically possible, for example, using a snake to go the ""wrong way"" on a sewer pipe to try to clear the line. Turns out you CAN do it (at least Victor can!), you just need a plumber with OG skills that can do it. It turns out, not all plumbers are created equal. Victor and his team have been doing this a long time and it really shows.

The repair of my sewer line was quite an experience to say the least. I'm so glad I had Martinez Plumbing to manage it, those guys handled what was probably a nightmare for them like champs, but I slept easy at night knowing it was getting taken care of. Victor showed up Monday morning after other plumbers during the weekend could not figure it out. The other guys wanted to charge me thousands, just to install a clean out so they could ""get closer to the problem"", they weren't going to solve the problem... yet... they just wanted to charge me money so they could see install something to better assess the problem and then go from there. Uhhhh.... No!

Martinez Plumbing did plenty of investigative work to figure out the most likely issue. My driveway was cracked and sinking due to the dirt erosion front the broken sewer pipe underneath. The ran a camera and snakes through the sewer to pinpoint the issue as well. Victor said, we already know your pipe is broken underground, it's obvious, let's just dig it up and solve the problem. The price was extremely reasonable as well, considering what it was going to cost me just to install 1 clean out with the other company, which wasn't even going to solve the problem. They started work work within that same hour.

The HUGE problem we ran into is there was an 3 foot diameter concrete underground canal in my front yard, which was on top of my sewer line. Who would have known that was under my lawn!? We didn't know it was there until they dug it up. Victor did the right thing and contacted the Fresno irrigation district and got a permit with them before continuing the work. We ended up having to concrete slurry around the canal. Never once did Victor even suggest that he needed to charge me more money for the extra work. It was unexpected inconvenience, but part of the job.

Long story short, I ended up with a fixed drive way (they do concrete work too), two new clean outs, a brand new modern plastic sewer pipe instead of the brittle clay pipe I had before, all permitted with the city and the irrigation district. And now I have Zero issues with my sewer.

If I have any plumbing needs in the future, I will be calling Martinez Plumbing before anyone else. No contest anymore for me, these are the guys to use.
