Had an ongoing problem with hot water heater peridically leaking from the pressure relief valve. 6 months ago we hired another local ""small business"" company to deal with same issue. They came in, did terrible and potentially dangerous work and then overcharged us to the tune of $350.00

Fast forward to this week. Called Steve Marston about this ongoing problem (still love the small business). He was at the house the next morning. He explained to us how the excessive water pressure into the house was causing the problem...within 5 minutes. They (Steve Sr. & Jr.) tested the pressure coming into the residence and found it way to high. They put in a pressure reducing valve on the water inlet, checked the expansion tank (which was 6 mos old) and found the interior bladder had exploded (probably the same day the ""other guy in town"" installed it). He replaced the expansion tank and was done with all that in about 2 hours. AND THE PRICE WAS STILL LESS THAN WHAT I PAID THE OTHER COMPANY.
