The company’s journey began when Robert Marshall established a roofing business. To provide work for his loyal employees in winter, when roofing was not feasible, he started a heating oil business. Glenn Dickey partnered with Robert in the early 1970s, which resulted in the purchase of R. Marshall Inc.. We later discontinued roofing services to concentrate on heating and air conditioning. The latest equipment advancements have guided our focus solely on indoor comfort. We continue to be a family-owned and operated business, deeply embedded in the local community.

Glenn is a dedicated volunteer and father. He initiated the Skippack Emergency Medical Ambulance, taking on roles as an EMT, driver, and the first president. During this time, he was also an active firefighter with the Skippack Fire Company. In the early 1980s, Glenn dedicated his time to coaching youth baseball and football, later transitioning to girls' softball. Owning a heating company is just another way for Glenn to give back. The business serves as a means to assist those in need.

The system their salesman sold me is great--and cost a bundle ($21K). When It came time for 2021 maintenance, the technician let me know the system I was sold was considered 'surgical-ward grade.' okay, I've enjoyed it for about 2-4years now (but feel suckered by the young, bright salesman looking at a great commission, probably). What I wasn't expecting was an 2021 annual maintenance bill for close to $1200!! (Annual maintenance on my whole-house generator is $300.) Will be looking for another Lennox dealer for 2022.

Worst service ever! They made promises that they did not keep and provided defective equipment. Very unprofessional! They provided an HVAC system that does not meet the needs of our home. We are cold all winter and we are hot all summer. The first thermostat they provided had a cracked screen so they replaced it. The next thermostat is defective and shuts off. Now they want to charge me charge up to $350 to fix it under warranty. I can buy a new thermostat for $119 online or go to Best Buy where it is on sale for $199 today. They promised the HVAC came with a tax rebate and it did not. Desiree tried so kindly in a really nice voice to continue to repeat herself that it would be more than the cost of a new thermostat just to unscrew a screw and unplug 5 wires and then re-screw a new thermostat to the wall and plug the 5 wires back in. Marshall's just wants to take more money from me because they can . Since I did not fall for her gimmick and am a total pain of a customer for thinking that Marshall's would actually stand by their services, I will need to take my business elsewhere. Please use caution with this company. I fell for how nice they talked to me too. Don't let them make you feel like you deserve terrible customer service like they did me.

Marshalls Service has zero respect for their customers' time. They habitually miss/skip/reschedule scheduled appointments the day of the appointment. Usually they call to reschedule but lately they just skip the appointment all together. I have been a customer for well over 12 years and I have purchased AC/HVAC systems from them and am trapped by maintenance plans. Otherwise, I would for sure look for a better service company.

Trust me there is always a more important customer or reason why they cannot honor a scheduled visit. Who cares if you scheduled time off work to be at home or moved meetings arounds.

Lastly, this has been an issue since for as long as can remember, they always tell me they're going to improve or they hired a manager who is going to make a change.

Same poor service year after year.

Terrible customer ervice. Twice I was given a window of time and the service technician was over and hours behind. They never call and update you and the office seems very disinterested. Constantly making excuses for the service rep with no regard to the customer.

I have a service contract with them which does not seem to matter at all. Which when they sell you the contract you are suppose to get ""the best service"" that has not happened.

Could not be more disappointed in a company. Still waiting on the technician today with a window of 2-4 p.m. He might be here in the next hour but it is anyones guess. Not sure why they even give you a window of time.

My parents paid in full for service. After the initial work was done the technician realized 14ft of down drop was not needed and another section did not need to be completed, about half the work +-. Instead of giving them a credit they are now fighting with the company to do what is the correct action.

REFUND the line items in the quote.

The sales rep Gabe will not return the calls, and has been giving my 76 Year Old parents the run around. NOW I AM involved and WILL get to the root of the issue. I want whats good for both parties.

Get paid for the work you did
Refund for the work you did not do

I am contacting the credit card company and stopping payment and treating this as fraud until I hear otherwise.

For some reason, I trusted Marshalls. Big mistake. Had them install a furnace. Checked around later to find they had overcharged by $2,000. Yes, TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS! They also tried to add on ANOTHER $3,000 (!) for an Air conditioner. We never even discussed the Air conditioner! It was never mentioned and there was nothing wrong with it! But they tried to sneak it in there. And the New Furnace had a DEFECTIVE PART! Do NOT trust them! Do not use them unless you are prepared to pay approximately DOUBLE what the service should cost!

Friendly service people but I had a horrible experience with an new air conditioning purchase. Horrible communication start to finish. They installed the incorrect Air conditioner, did not install the UV sanitation package, cut three roof trusses, agreed to install the correct air conditioner but then without communication tried to install a conversion kit. Don't use their online chat as it does. It seem to be connected to the business. After re-install AC unit failed to start And tech spent about 4 hrs trying to get the Lennox unit to run. From what I read the conversion kit could have voided the 10 warranty. The front office seems very disconnected and escalated issues seem to go no where.

I called Marshall Services after my water heater started leaking all over the basement. They came out same day to check it out - and then gave me very great estimate and i had my water heater installed and working by the end of that very same day! Everyone from the office staff to the service tech that i spoke with were awesome - very friendly and knew what they were talking about. i would recommend them to anyone. Great company and people!
