I called Blake when we had a 'crisis' at our home in Northstar. It was August, a busy vacation time, when we discovered that rodents had settled into the duct system and done a lot of damage. We had renters coming in, and needed to get this resolved in order to fulfill that commitment. Our rental agent made at least five calls - non of them returned, and basically said ""you're on your own"". Fortunately the company who installed our heating system told us about Blake Marshall. Blake, too, was over booked. We were able to get a short term fix- good enough to get us through the rental commitment, after which Blake came in and did a proper remediation of the problem.

I was incredibly appreciative, that Blake took the time to explain to me what the issues were - and what needed to be done to do the necessary repairs. He was the first/only person I'd talked to who took the time to help me understand what I have no knowledge of - HVAC systems - to the extent that I understood what needed to be done.

This was the first time I had to deal with this on my own - my husband unable to help me at the time. I consider Blake a trusted adviser.

Called Marshall Plumbing to come out to our house to correct another contractor's shoddy work. Blake Marshall arrived as promised, studied the installation of our new, whole house Humidifier, and identified and corrected a couple of problems within 15 minutes of his arrival.

This new humidifier had not been running previously and after a day, or two, some steam problems arose, again from the previous contractor's shoddy installation, I described these to Blake through an e-mail, and he was able to suggest things to check, which corrected the problems.

I found Blake to be professional, bright, and competent. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

We recently used Marshall Plumbing & Heating to replace a 30+ year old heater in our home in Tahoe Vista. I had called 8 businesses, only 3 replied, and Blake impressed us the most. He was knowledgeable, was patient in answering our questions and didn't try to sell us on extras that we didn't need or want. On the day of installation, upon removal of the old heater, he was met with unexpected surprises. Evidently the heater had never been installed properly and that led to additional work on Blake's part. He took care of it efficiently and professionally and had us up and running by the end of the day.
We couldn't have been more pleased or impressed with his work. We will definitely be using his services in the future and would highly recommend him

Awesome experience. Our water heater died. Blake came quickly and worked on MLK day to replace our heater. He is super knowledgeable, no nonsense, and fixed another issue on the spot with our furnace as well. He is very knowledgeable about what's required for code and our house needs, and very trustworthy. We would definitely use them again for our plumbing and heating needs.

I never used Marshall, but I called them when my water heater broke. As you can imagine, no hot water in Tahoe winter is not ideal. I called a ton of people and he was one of the first to respond and try to help. He was very responsive, professional and promised me he could get to it as soon as the part arrived. He had a booked schedule, but with my emergency wanted to help. I would have used him in a heartbeat, but found someone else randomly had the part to fix the issue ASAP.
