I'm updating a review I left way back in 2017. I had some problems including getting charged for an on-site estimate. The owner just contacted me (late, but followup is always appreciated) and made a convincing argument that I had left a review here for a plumbing service with a similar name by mistake. The owner says he does not charge for onsite estimates.

I was looking for an experienced old-timey plumber without a fleet of vans and a high overhead--Marshall filled the bill completely. I got quotes from 3 plumbers and I had confidence in him immediately. He didn't quote the job off the top of his head the first few seconds after arriving, but delved into the details meticulously and stuck by his quote. He likes to chat while he works, which made the time he was here enjoyable. He clearly knows his stuff and I will definitely keep his number on file. It's nice to not have to search for a plumber I can trust. (But I still think it's wise to get several quotes. When it's not an emergency you have that freedom.)

Marshall knows exactly what he is doing and he was so sweet!! I called him earlier this morning explaining my problem. I gave him very little information but he knew exactly what questions to ask me to call out the problem. ROOTS! He came very quickly to our location and was able to explain everything to me very quickly. His prices are extremely reasonable, compared to some of the other places I called. Super glad I was able to find Marshall and now I know exactly who to call the next time we have a problem. Thanks Marshall!

Great guy. Customer service was fantastic. As a stay at home mother his free estimate helped me out. Very knowledgable and doesn't make you feel stupid. Can't wait to tell the hubby we found a plumber. Thanks Marshall.

Marshall is an old school gentleman and a terrific plumber. Thorough, efficient, polite to an extreme. He did a variety of plumbing related jobs for us: changed the water pressure regulator, changed a leaking sprinkler valve and moved its location, hooked up the washing machine and gas dryer, tightened loose fixtures, provided sage advice on why not to flush the old water heater, and even helped me carry some non-plumbing loads in from the car, as well as lending a tool to the gardener.

Marshall works alone, so he doesn't always answer the phone right away. He will get back to you, and he will be there when he said he would, or call to let you know his status.

Absolutely terrific! Having to call a plumber is a lot like going to the dentist...horrifying. But this guy is the best. I called because of a pretty severally backed up drain at my commercial kitchen. Marshall answered the phone and was out to me two hours later at our mutually agreed upon time. He was pleasent, funny and efficient. He diagnosed and treated the problem within 20 minutes and it cost me WAY less than I thought. Great experience. My plumbing needs both commercial and residential will go to no one else.

Marshall came in to fix some sinks that were long overdue to be looked at. Friendly, knowledgeable, entertaining ... overall great plumber.

Looking to find him now for more repairs and can't seem to reach anyone on the number listed. Anyone know how Marshall is doing????

Marshall is awesome! Even on a Saturday he called me back within a reasonable time, and was able to come out the same day. He showed up within the time window given, gave me a firm estimate before he started working and explained everything involved. He is experienced, efficient and did an excellent job cleaning up after he was done. He even found a smaller related issue and fixed it also for the original amount quoted. This guy is honest and friendly. Definitely recommend Marshall

I left him a message but he did not call me back. I called him again in the morning and he gave me a nice apology...(he just got busy at work and it got too late to return my call). He came to the house within the hour after talking to him. I should have asked how much he charged for the main clean out...but I didn't. He charged me about $100 more than I'm used to paying for a clean out and he gave me no warranty. But he did a good job and sanitized the area before leaving. He also took the time to explain everything... So he's good but too expensive. Get a price from him before he does work.
