Waaaay overcharged me and never mentioned price up front. Took him about 10 minutes to snake an easy-access clean out in front of the house and charged $195. Not very well-equipped either. Just a snake.

Great price, fast response, expert service, no nonsense. Luis showed up earlier than planned because I asked for help ASAP. He fixed the stoppage in my kitchen drain, explained the cause and how to help prevent it in the future (grease, bleach), and cleaned up the area. It was like, how come every plumbing service experience isn't like this? I highly recommend them.

I am so perplexed on what just happened with this plumber and would like to share my experience. Note that I have used this plumber before. Jesse, the plumber, went to my other house and told my husband and I that he'd have to order parts for the specialty toilet. We decided to replace the toilet. He said their company provides low end ""Gilbert"" toilets to install. We chose to purchase a better quality toilet. He told me to call the office to set date to return tomorrow to install. Which I did. Then, we purchased a new toilet at Lowes along with a wax ring and 12"" supply line. After that, I called Rebecca in the office to let her know what I purchased and inquired if the price will be the same. She put me on hold and said ""I just work in the office...Jesse said get someone else to the job."" What? I asked to speak to him. He would not get on the phone nor take my calls on his cell phone. Very unprofessional!

I have been using their service for years and on one occasion they did an incomplete job with the plumbing under the building. Costed tons of money later down the line with another company to fix what they should have fixed. Marquez wanted to charge for the job not done as well.
So I put them on suspension. I just ran into an emergency and the person who answered had the coldest attitude as if the incident had happened yesterday; he brought it up and refused service.
I let him know that he could rethink it and that if he let it slide I would write something good on yelp, but he said he did not care. That I could even report it to BBB and to Donald J. Trump.
This is the problem in our country, the right to refuse service. All of the businesses need to take a Hippocratic oath just like doctors do to offer their services. And you can count on it that I will report their inept phone behavior to the BBB and my representative and see if he cares or doesn't care that I told our President.

Yes, Luis of Marquez Bros is awesome. He came out last summer (2017) and cleared our 95 year old pipes at least 20 feet deep. Checked another place too, to make sure that one wasn't clogged. Excellent and fast service. He was out within an hour after I called. Great company.
