I've used them in the past for sewer drain removal, but this time they were contracted through Best Buy to install a dishwasher. My electrical needed updated so they needed to drop off the dishwasher and come back and install it- a service I paid extra for. They had me sign the paper saying it was complete through Best Buy and wanted me to call them personally to come back and install it, they said it's easier for them paperwork wise that way. It made me slightly uncomfortable, but since I had worked with them In the past I said ok. Big mistake. My kitchen is in the midst of major repairs so it took about 3 weeks to have work finished, I called and the secretary was so ungodly rude I wasn't on some ""list"" even after I tried to explain the situation several times to her. I literally had to tell her to stop telling me about her ""list"". I finally said leave my number with your boss, I'm calling Best Buy and making a complaint. That's what I did. They reschedule back with them by opening up the work order again. - and low and behold the day before the apt 3:25 pm - apt is 9 am next day- they cancel and say they can't come at all and put me with another service provider after my complaint. Lesson learned.

1. Clean up debris removed from the sewer and do NOT leave it on the customer's floor. Other professionals have when calling in my home.

2. Do NOT tell the customer the plumbing can be used when the clean out plug hasn't been replaced in the pipe. This same man told my spouse we leave it that way intentionally. (Now my home is unable to use water-period)

3. Maintain your equipment so your crew doesn't have to waste my Monday for 2.5 hours waiting, only to have them break the equipment.

4. When your crew screws up, fix the issue IMMEDIATELY (not tomorrow) and apologize. Customer Service 101 to maintain your company and name.

Now we are at the same point as we were on Thursday, with a sewer line backing up.

Had a water heater installed. Needed additional parts. They told me one price and months later got a bill for $300 more out of the blue. It comes down to me not wanting everything in writing before the work was done. Cant go by people word anymore. I should have known better.

My kitchen sink was clogged on Christmas Day 2019, and the day after I contacted Mark's Plumbing. The plumber arrived in good time and was very pleasant. However, when he left, after snaking the pipes, the water only trickled and took overnight to drain away. The plumber stated they would deliver a solution to open up the pipes for complete drainage. My daughter was diagnosed with flu, and we were in quarantine. So, I offered for them to leave the bottle on our front porch. We checked every hour, as I was desperate to have a working sink. I called back that day, since the solution was not there. The next day, the same thing - I checked constantly and made repeated calls. On the third day, I spoke with the main plumber, who assured me that he had delivered the solution, but I informed him it was never delivered. He said they were just too busy and would not be able to return for several days. I was billed $215, and the work order stated the sink was mostly draining and a solution treatment was completed. None of this is true. I will pay the amount, because small claims court takes too much time. But, NEVER use Mark's Plumbing.
