After I got a bid of $523.00 to replace a dripping valve for the irrigation/sprinkler system from one company, I called Mark Plumbing and he came out the next day. Todd looked at the valve and said that the nut was loose and it only needed to be tightened. After Todd tightened the nut, I asked what I owed him, Todd responded "" nothing"" and said that he wouldn't be able to sleep at night if he had charged me. As a result of his honesty, I asked Todd to replace our laundery sink with a new porcelin, castiron sink. The cost was approximately $1400.00 less than the quote that I received from the first company that I called about the leaking valve. I will not hesitate to call Todd for any of my plumbing issues.

Well, we were off to a good start with the initial visit. We had a leaking faucet that needed replacing. Todd called and set up a time to come out to the house. He had to return the next day to complete the job-not a problem. We agreed on a time of 10:00. Well, 10:15 comes around & he calls to say he'll be closer to 10:30. He finally shows up at 11:00, just to park in front of the house to do what? I waited another 10 minutes before trying to call him. When I did, it went to voicemail. So, I go out to the van to confirm, yes, he's still planning on completing the job today. I informed him that I had places to be today. He then had a bit of an attitude... Like its MY fault he's over an hour late! He originally said the job would take an hour to an hour and half. When I questioned him being able to finish in time for me to make my appointment, he said he'd be done in 30 min... Hmm..so, you say you'll be here at 10 for a job that should take an hour or so. You show up an hour late and then proceed to bang and clang away to hurry up & get out. The faucet looks great. Just not too pleased with the lack of customer service. He never apologized for keeping me waiting. Just had an attitude when I called him out on his lack of punctuality.
Plenty of plumbers out there... Look for one that values your time as much as their own!
