Great work. Prompt and thorough. Great prices too! Mark got the best price for my new HVAC system and had the whole thing installed within a day. Very reliable and a lot of help.

Bottom line: Never again, look elsewhere.
Hard to work with, the work was poorly done, left unfinished, and the bill was nearly double what we discussed.

1. Mark installed bathroom fans. I had bought them online and sent him specs so that he could be prepared with the right parts for the job. He came with the wrong parts, I ended up going to home depot to get what he needed.

2. Our bathroom fans are crooked. Both of them. They are not parallel to the walls. Some of the plaster tore out when installing the switches, it was not patched.

3. The biggest hole was patched, but none of them were painted. The job looks sloppy and unfinished.

4. The bill inflated nearly 2x for parts (which I paid for mostly) and ""unexpected"" labor. In retrospect, I shouldn't have paid it until the work was done or the parts were itemized.

Mark does not return calls or emails. I left phone numbers and filled out his request a quote and never heard anything from him. Also his ad of no job too small does not seem to be true. He does not seem to want my job. I never hear from him. Am very dissatisfied

I felt Mark was rude on the phone. I called to see about him doing some work, and all he cared to ask was who would pay him, when he would be paid, etc..

I had been trying to get some quotes for a kitchen project and it seems like everyone is about two weeks out or more. Mark was able to come next day and do the job right then and there. He was very responsive and a good communicator. For that, I give 5 stars. As far as the work goes, I didn't feel wowed or like Mark went the extra mile. It seemed like he was in an extreme rush as I still have to paint and do a bit of a touch up, throw away discarded items, etc. As far as price goes, he came in on the high end of the quotes I had received. Mark does offer a year warranty on his work so that is a nice perk. If you're in a rush to get a job done, Mark is the man. If you can wait, I'd look around.

Mark was prompt, professional, and easy to work with. I called him on a Thursday morning. He came over that evening at 5pm to measure. By the next morning I had a quote. I didn't call him until Monday morning. He had stuff going on that week but was able to still arrive Wednesday morning. He was done by mid afternoon. His work was very clean and professional and he is fast. I couldn't be happier. I will be sure to recommend Mark to anyone who needs help around the house. Big or small, he has the skills!

Pictured is an additional shelf he added to the laundry area. You can't really tell the difference between the shelf the builders put in and the one Mark did. Looks identical. He also built a gate going to our basement to prevent our twin toddlers from taking a tumble. He also build garage shelving, and not picture. He put in an additional outlet in the garage.

Mark did a very complicated Install of a 36"" range hood at our place. It was not a straight forward job and had to work within tight framing and go out through the wall. He took the time to figure out how to do it right and did quality work. I highly recommend him.

My request on Yelp went out to 4 contractors and Mark was the one interested in the project. After a few messages back and forth, trying to determine whether he needed to come out for an estimate, ins he provided the amount he typically charges for such a project, which is to say that he really didn't feel like making the trip to do the measurements and give a proper estimate like normal people would. And the last message was from me giving him the measurement he needed, but never heard back from him. Mark now has my address, because I gave it to him when he asked for it, which is making feel uneasy for some reason.

Remarks to the business owner's response:

I don't usually answer calls from an unfamiliar number because of all the spam calls; so I depend
on the recorded messages. And I only recently discovered that my voicemail had to be set up, which I already had set up, but I blame software updates. Having said all that, I'd think that whoever is trying to reach would try all avenues, to include texting.

About the price you quoted me... it was a general figure, and when I responded to you with the measurements, you never wrote back.

In conclusion: In general, I find the contractors in my area to be inflated with self worth, probably because of the abundance of work availability... and they lack the basic common courtesy in timely responses or any responses. You have a great day yourself!

I called Mark this afternoon with a plumbing problem, hoping to schedule a time for him to come look at it. I have always done all my own home repairs, and with a 45-year-old house, there have been quite a few that I have had to figure out. But this time, I knew I was in over my head and needed someone with the right skills and the right tools.

Mark happened to be available right then and came right over. He looked it over and gave me a bid right in the range I was expecting. A quick run to the store to get the parts and 2 hours later my problem is solved. He is fast, efficient, and knows what he's doing. After watching him fix the problem, I would have been fighting it for 2 or 3 days with a LOT of colorful language throughout. Mark's fee was worth every penny. I will definitely call him again and readily recommend him to all who read this.

Mark and Brenda are awesome! Mark is prompt, professional, efficient and thorough. We are very pleased with the repairs he did for us. In addition to the great service, the invoice was below the cost estimate (never had that happen before!). Brenda is personable and did a great job with scheduling and keeping us informed. Overall, it was probably the best contractor experience we've ever had. We are very happy we found this team and will definitely call on them again!
