We just bought our ""forever"" house in Ramona & hadn't had septic since we were kids. When all the plumbing started ""gurgling,"" we feared the worst. We called Marklein Plumbing late in the day, they reassured us and sent out their tech the next morning. Miguel was awesome! Found the problem (it wasn't the septic, just a major clog) and fixed it. He was very professional, competent, and just a good person. Not only did we find our ""forever"" home, but we found our ""forever"" plumbers, too. Thank you!

For a plumbing service provider they are ridiculously expensive! To give you an idea, I requested a quote to replace five Fossett heads with their hot and cold handles. Basic removal of the old hardware and replaced with new. Nothing special. I was given an estimate of almost five thousand dollars. I was completely stunned... it was absolutely laughable! So I just watched a YouTube video, ordered the hardware, and did my own work. Costed me just over eight hundred dollars. If you pay the price they ask, you are either independently wealthy (lazy) or just ignorant.

All my drains were clogged and I was very stressed about it. Miguel came, found the problem and cleared the drains quickly and efficiently. He is very knowledgable and professional. I also had him fix my slow filling toilet. I am beyond happy with the service I got and the charges were very reasonable.

My need wasn't a crisis (a shower nob that keeps popping off so I wanted to replace the faucet kit but lots of calcification on the valve) so I'm not sure if I'll use the service this time. But I promise, when I do have a ""gotta have it now"" these guys are getting my business.

I just wanted to give a big thank you to Marklein Plumbing! Our master shower valve was leaking a little, so we gave them a call. They were luckily able to fit us in the next day, and it turned out that unbeknownst to us, the water pressure regulator for the house had failed! Craig was awesome, and had everything fixed & buttoned up neatly for us in a very reasonable time frame. I really appreciate the great work they've done for us (and the shoe covers in the house were much appreciated as well!).

A tree root had cracked a PVC to metal pipe connection at my cabin in Julian on a Sunday afternoon. While searching websites looking for a plumber that would travel up the hill my wife got in contact with someone at Marklein plumbing. The woman she spoke to said she would see what she could do...a couple of hours later (Sunday night!) she said she could have someone there by 9am Monday. Miguel was there by 8:30 and replaced the connection thus saving our vacation. Everyone we spoke to was great and we cannot thank them enough.

Craig Marklein and his apprentice did a great job unclogging my bathtub drain. I called mid morning on Saturday and I asked to have someone come out. The lady taking the call said what day would you like someone. I said as soon as it can be scheduled. She replied, how about to day between 3 and 7 pm. I received a text message confirming my call, the service consultation fee and a picture of Craig. When he was on his way, I got another text letting me know he was coming. He evaluated my drain issue told me what it was going to cost and got the job done expeditiously and at a very reasonable rate. I was able to shower last night with a drain that drained. Thank you Craig and your apprentice. I am certain if he learns the business from you he will be terrific. Keeping the business local is great and it is good to know that we have top notched businesses here in Ramona.
