It's always hard when you become a new homeowner finding contractors or professionals you can trust. I've had 2 or 3 so far that won't be coming back in various different trades. Markco plumbing will now be my go to for plumbing repairs. They came out this morning in the exact time frame they told me over the phone and called me to inform me when they were on their way. The quote actually came out slightly lower than I expected as from my own research online I was expecting about a $600 bill and only paid about 450 or so. Very reliable and honest people. I thought it was awesome too that one of the guys on my case today was the son of a retired employee from the same company. That's the kind of people I want helping me with home repairs.

Tyler came to our house for our hot water heater not staying lit. He was in our home less than 10 minutes. He brought a flashlight with him. He stood in front of it and told my husband that it was an old water heater. When my husband informed him that it was only a few years old, he told him the gas meter was only good for about two years and a water heater for ten. That he could replace it for $600 or a new water heater for $1600. He called to see what he should charge us for a service call since he was there a few minutes. Instead of a $220 charge it would only be $165. After my husband got very hot about the charge, he did ask him if he wanted him to actually look at it. Um no... Mind you, the kid never even squatted. He stood in front of the heater and never touched it!!!!! So good customer service Markco, $165 for less than 10 minutes of no work and NEVER actually checking out the heater. I wish there was less than a star I could give. I wonder how many other people this has been done to.

I used Markco Plumbing for the first and last time. I have no problem with the service reps. They were competent and courteous. I received service in November but did not receive a bill until February 19th! The service guys were at my place for 1/2 hour. They replaced two hammer arrestors on my washing machine which were about $25. When I finally received my bill, I was surprised that the total was $254. When I finally received an answer to my question about my bill I was informed that, indeed, they were there for about 1/2 hour. They charge for 1 hour minimum. I have no problem with that. But, they also charged for 1/2 hour for driving time and a $30 Truck charge! (Whatever the hell that is!) The additional charges were about $100. I find that unacceptable and will not use them again!

I highly recommend Markco for any small or large scale plumbing job. We've had them install both a water softner and a hot water heater at our home. The HWH was a mild emergency (slow leak) job that they got to me within 48hrs., where a competitor told me it would be about 7-10 days. They are so professional and neat on the job. Prices are very good for the extreme high quality of work.

I LOVE Markco. I have used them for years. Their technicians are always friendly, efficient, and professional. They schedule service calls in a timely manner, and call ahead to let you know when they're coming. They put booties on as soon as they arrive in the house. They don't leave the tiniest bit of mess and after they're gone you can't even tell that they've been there other than that your plumbing works again! Prices are reasonable and I recommend them to everyone I know. Call Markco- you won't regret it!!!

MarkCo came recommended to me by a friend who had worked with them before. I had mark over to give me an estimate for replacing the sewer stack in my 90 yr old Mt Lookout house and ended up hiring his team for a full kitchen remodel.

This was more than a typical remodel. It included a complete remodel with removing a wall and building custom cabinetry to move the washer and dryer into the former breakfast nook and out of the dank basement.

Their team put up with my energetic puppy while doing amazing work. They weren't happy with how much flex there was in the floor of the kitchen so they reinforced it down to the foundation. They found out the tub in my bathroom wasn't supported so they reinforced it.

Finally the cabinets we ordered weren't quite right so Mark's team actually was able to take them apart and do. Custom rebuild that fit our very tightly designed layout.

I have owned six houses and hVe done a ton of remodel. I have never had as good of an experience as I had with markco
