Mark Lindsay and Son sent a service technician to restore our heat when our furnace failed during the single digit arctic blast of early January 2018.
Roy the tech arrived about two hours after we called. He was knowledgeable and polite as he explained our options regarding repair or replace.
He also answered all our questions about how our system works.
Totally satisfied and would use again.

Update. Just got a call from Lindsay and Son. They wanted to know how the heat was working. We told them we are up to 64 degrees and our target was 70 and that we were aware it would take a little time to get the house warmed again. The caller said that was fine but they would call again tomorrow just to make sure. GREAT CUSTOMER CARE !

I had them come out to a rental property I have.It was a Friday night, so an after hours emergency call. I get it, a 'premium' charge. The tenant was having a low/no water pressure issue. The service guy was there within a couple hours. Not bad as I wasn't an existing customer of theirs. Sort of rude on the phone, but his tone improved after awhile. (I know, I could have interrupted his evening, I get it..) He 'looked' around, the issue was explained. He said it was clogged screens/aerators in the faucets (even though there are no screens aerators on the tub). Some water came out after a bit..He charged over $200 (I get it, after hours emergency call..I had a coupon even), he went on his way. An hour later my tenant called and said the same issue..no/low pressure. So after paying that, it wasn't fixed. They didn't even call to ask if things were ok, or if issues were solved, just to make sure. So now I needed to have someone else look at it. (We thought it was the well pump, but it turns out it was a leaky toilet.. go figure.. something Mark Lindsay maybe should have figured out) So this is two stars because issue wasn't fixed, the y never called back to see if it was, and I needed someone elst to come out and re-diagnose the issue (which they did for half the price)

I called this company after the first company I called missed several appointments and some they just would call and keep postponing the times. Anyway when I called ML the rep on the phone was very helpful and accommodating, after she gave me an appointment I asked if there were any cancellations could the tech come sooner, sure enough she( sorry, can't remember her name) called and informed me a cancellation did occur and they would be able to have someone the next day!!! Awesome, Mike the tech arrived exactly on time and went right to work. I needed 2 gas furnaces serviced and the air purged from the hot water baseboard system as well as a new thermostat installed. Mike was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me in understandable terms. He inspected every component of the furnaces and gave me estimates of what needed to be done. Quite frankly I didn't think that many problems were present as we had used the heat several times this season. After all the work was complete and Mike ensured everything was working properly, the final bill was quite staggering. I highly recommend this company for the personnel they have as they go out of their way to accommodate and ensure your satisfaction as well as really knowing their craft. Thank you ML, receptionist and Mike. This winter will tell if the fixes were worth it!!

We were purchasing a home that had been robbed of all the copper pipes prior to the closing. So when we closed - we had no heat, pipes or boiler. With all the pipes cut in different places, it was not an easy thing to put this jigsaw puzzle back together.
They did a great job - neat, on time, passed inspection with no trouble. Price... lets just say that I wouldn't ordinarily go with only ""the cheapest"" for any large projects, no complaints from us. My husband has HVAC background and was pleased with the job done. Glad to recommend them.

Mark Lindsay is a rip-off artist. He installed a water treatment system and a boiler for us. $10,000 later, we have a water treatment system that is too big for our house that has never worked properly. Every plumber that has been here since has shook their heads in disbelief at the equipment and the installation, which was also improperly done. On top of everything else, he is an arrogant you-know-what, full of insults and condescension. If you have any serious plumbing work to be done, run as hard and as fast as you can away from this man.

ML plumbing has amazing customer service. Although the problem was not fixed the first time they came out again at no charge right away to take care of it. They were kind, professional, and they worked hard. The woman who answered my call took me seriously and was excellent at keeping me informed of when they would be here. My parents used Mark Lindsay & Son Plumbing and Heating to replace their furnace. The workmanship was sloppy and lazy. The old furnace had an exterior accessed filter. The new furnace filter is only accessible by opening the front of the furnace. The filter was just stuffed in and leaning against the blower and wiring. When contacted by me, they did go back out and added a track for the filter but you still need to to take off the top and bottom panel to access. Not very convenient for a 70+ year old homeowner. Why the original filter holder was removed is unknown. The new furnace is smaller so it was not a sizing issue. I can only assume it was done that way to ensure future service calls (to change filters) and generate more income. To say we are disappointed in this seasoned company is an understatement.
