Hired them to install (1) a standard simple kitchen faucet, and look at two outside water faucets First I asked their plumber if he tested the kitchen faucet after he installed it. He told me yes. Well the first thing we noticed went wrong is their plumber didn't put the faucet on right - he switched the cold and hot lines. Something totally basic when installing faucets.
The second thing that went wrong is he told us to cut a water pipe on (we assumed he knew what we was doing) and it leaked water into our basement and onto our brand new carpet. To add insult to injury he allegedly fixed one of the exterior faucets by installing new piping which he told us was required by code, and then we see this morning, that the pipe that he installed is leaking everywhere in our garage!!! So where there was no leak in our garage before he now created one. Worse, we made three phone calls to them in the last 16 hours, and it had to take threatening to go to court as no one responded to sufficiently address the train wreck of their plumber's work!! Very disappointed as we had given them a lot of business in the last 6 months. Never again.

Pros: easy to schedule with and company size equates to good availability, all the techs are skilled (Big Jim is a great guy), and their customer service rep is friendly. Cons: the pricing can be unpredictable and higher than others I have used.
Amy G.We had an issue with the spout in my bathtub and after calling several plumbing companies, I got through to this company who assured me that I could receive a same day appointment. The individual with whom I scheduled the appointment was very friendly and polite. However, the person who arrived at my house was very rude, disrespectful, and nasty. Being that I am nine and a half months pregnant and considered very high-risk, there are many precautions that I need to take for my health as well as the health of my unborn child. I also have some additional health issues as well. The person who came to my house treated my husband very respectfully because he is white, but acted very coldly towards me and treated me like I was some stupid woman, who didn't know the difference between what is an emergency and what is not. My health issues are not something that I feel comfortable discussing with anyone outside my family or my physician, but this person truly made me feel like I was absolutely stupid. He had no problem accepting money from me, but apparently my gender and my ethnicity posed a serious problem for him.
Please train your employees to treat human beings with respect. This was the worst experience of my life and I pray that no one else every gets treated like crap, especially based on their gender, skin color, or if they are pregnant!
Just used these guys to install a hot water heater (under warranty), our house had just sold and they found the water heater leaking on the walk through. Unfortunately we had already moved out of state so I couldn't be there for the install, but I did have to pay for the replacement. The technician called with a price that was crazy high but had me confused about the warranty but I was stuck I needed the work done ASAP for the closing . When they were done I received the invoice in an email, $1990 for just the install, the cost of the new water heater was covered by the warranty. When I called to question how a water heater installation could possibly cost this much I got the biggest snow job story I ever heard. Now when someone speaks to you like you don't know anything about plumbing or water heaters or pipe work and your resume like mine consists of being a plumber, a fitter an HVAC tech and ultimately the head maintenance supervisor for a Port Authority facility for 34 years its just down right disrespectful and insulting. I personally changed a water heater in this house in that exact spot about 15 years ago, it took my about 45 minutes by myself, these guys charged for 4 hours of work. The best part is they sent me pictures of there completed work and I can see exactly what they did and didn't do, less than $100 in parts.
Update: I spoke with a manager, got him to admit 4 hours for 2 guys to install a water heater is ridiculous and he tried to sell me on just under $200 in parts, which is just as bad as an argument to support a $1990 installation
bill!! He did refund $125 , these people should be ashamed of themselves.
Out toilet started leaking - Mark Lindsay &Son had a technician out in under 2 hours! Technician Thomas Tufaro was amazing! He found the problem quickly, explained everything and went over costs. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and completed the work quickly! I was so impressed with his professionalism- ten stars! Thank you Thomas! we will only use Mark Lindsay & Sons for all our needs- from start to finish- 100 percent pleased! Thank you Thomas for making less stress in A very stressful world!
My advice is to stay away from this company . I had a mini split heat pump system installed 5 years ago by them . Problems from the start - in my opinion it was never repaired properly under warrantee - now i am off warrantee - it will cost $ 2800 to repair and approx , $ 8500 to replace . I expected the system to last more than 5 years . It was a Fujitsu system . I have called the office twice in the last month - was told somone would call me back - never heard back form them .
Larsen Svenn I.When my heat went out the other night, I called up and Drew was sent out. This is the guy you want and when you have a problem with your heat and it's cold outside. He was friendly, courteous, professional and explained everything that needed to be done. He explained that there was water in my tank and it would need to be pumped out. In the meantime he was able to get it running which lasted over a day. When he did his magic he told me it might not even less than night. It lasted a lot longer and bought me some time.
Drew was exceptional and I would have no hesitation in contacting him or Mark Lindsay again for any issues.
This is the first review I have ever written. I had a technician come to the house to repair a tankless combi boiler/hot water heater. The unit is 4 years old and still under warranty. They said they could not tell exactly what was wrong without taking it apart; and that taking it apart would add up to thousands of dollars in labor costs. According to the technician, ""the only sensible thing to do is replace it with one of the boilers they sell and install.""
A friend then told me that the technicians get a commission any time they can talk a customer into replacing their boiler. When the company called to set up a price quote for the boiler, I asked if their technicians are on commission. They admitted that they are. SERIOUS conflict of interest. It cost me almost $100 in a diagnostic fee to be a sales lead for the technician. So sleazy. I want to take a shower after dealing with them. But of course I can't because they didn't fix my water heater.

Misael M.First time using them. I called them due to their 5 star reviews online and I'm glad I did! Great service and extremely professional! My central AC unit stopped working and they sent someone over the very next day sooner then the scheduled time. (Jacob the Tech showed up at 9am and he was scheduled to show up from 10am-12pm). Jacob got the job done! No run arounds and did not ""recommend"" unnecessary services to charge extra. They even texted me before he showed up to inform me he was on his way and even sent me a picture of Jacob so we knew who to expect and gave us a highlight of his experience. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again! A++
We have used Mark Lindsey since we moved into our home a year ago. We have had a few issues with a purchased water pressure system and Mark Lindsey was always there to fix the problem until it needed permanent replacement due to faulty of the manufacturer. Jonah our technician came and did a wonderful job installing the new model and re-piping. He was courteous and did the job as quickly as possible. Will recommend for any job!!
