I met an older man who needed assistance, so I began to lend a hand. He gave me the opportunity handle service calls for his business, and that changed everything. It was a great advantage during a time of job transitions, because I was unemployed. I turned to metal scrapping during that time. I saw his workshop and decided to call him. He offered me all the scrap he had. Eventually, I met him again and he wanted to know if I was seeking employment. I quickly said yes, since plumbing was what I wanted to do. I didn’t want to start with a large company regardless. It was just right. God’s timing is always perfect. Incidentally, he was Mike Wells, the proprietor of Wells Plumbing. He was a great individual, and a fantastic teacher.
